Special Moments Event Planning: 2022

As 2022 comes to a close for our Special Moments Event planning family, we wanted to take a minute to look back at the past year.

Our team thought it would be a fun way for you to learn a little more about us and answer some of the questions clients frequently as us.

 

We’re More Than Weddings

As our name implies, our team plans all kinds of events. This year we tackled some fun and fabulous events.

2022 for our Special Moments Event Planning team included:

•   4 – Surprise Proposals
•   1 – Engagement Party
•   1 – Surprise 40th Birthday Party
•   1 – Celebration of Life

 

But, What About Weddings?

In 2022 our Special Moments Event Planning team worked with 71 couples on their weddings. 

This included Full-Service Wedding Planning, Partial Planning Packages, and Wedding Day Management. 

Many of these weddings included Invitation RSVP service and creating beautiful signage, as well as custom gift bags.

 

 

Fun Facts About Our 2022 Weddings

What was the largest wedding you planned in 2022?

Navitha and Mark’s April 30th wedding was for 249 people, including the bride and groom. Their wedding reception was at the JW Marriott, and their ceremony was at Tammy’s childhood church!

 

What was the smallest wedding you planned?

Jasmyn and Christopher’s January 3rd elopement was a private ceremony, with cake and champagne for just the couple.

In addition to our Special Moments Event Planning team, their Sandpearl Resort wedding team was more than four times the size of their guest list.

 

What 2022 wedding had the longest planning time?

The planning for Allison and Austin’s January 22nd Tampa wedding began when we were hired in February 2019!

 

What 2022 wedding had the shortest planning time?

Michelle and Kevin hired our Special Moments Event Planning team on December 31st, 2021, to help with their January 22nd wedding. While some of the planning was done, there was still a lot to bring together.

 

What was the most unique wedding of 2022?

This has to be Roberta and Matt’s April wedding. The wedding weekend began with a fun welcome party and ended with brunch. In between, the wedding day started with a pre-ceremony reception, a ceremony officiated by the groom’s brothers, and then guests were transported to Rococo Steak for the reception.

 

What are some special moments from 2022 weddings?

We had a groom who chose to wear an emerald green suit. It was fun and unique, and we loved seeing a groom in something different.

 

 

 

One touching moment was when the best man, serving in the military, was live-streamed to share his wedding toast.

And we also had a few weddings where the couple’s wedding vehicle was a vintage car owned by a family member. It was adorable and made it very personal.

So, our Special Moments Event Planning team was pretty busy in 2022. And while we’ve had fun looking back – it’s full steam ahead into 2023!
