You’ve Got A Friend!
Roberta and Matt’s incredible Tampa Bay wedding was one for the books. The two met in high school and went their separate ways. They had families, and fate brought them back together later in life.
Their Tampa Bay wedding weekend started in Ybor City with a rehearsal dinner with incredible food, cigar rollers, and flamenco dancers. And that was just the beginning!
Their Wedding Day
The morning of the wedding, the couple got ready, surrounded by their family and close friends. They then saw each other for the first time for some wedding portraits and family photos.
After a short break and a pre-ceremony reception, the two were ready to exchange their vows.
Surrounded by Family and Friends
An aisle of red rose petals led to an incredible chuppah of lush greenery dotted with white flowers and accented with a gold chandelier.
With friends and family in place, the bride-to-be made her way down the aisle to “Longer” by Dan Fogelberg, where her groom-to-be would meet her halfway.
The couple exchanged wedding vows in a traditional ceremony officiated by the groom’s brothers before sealing their vows with a kiss.
The Luxury Of A Bentley
Following the wedding ceremony, guests were transported across Tampa Bay for a night of dinner and dancing.
The couple took some time for photos together before being whisked away in a luxurious white Bentley.
At Last!
After crossing to St. Petersburg, the couple and their guests enjoyed cocktails and lit bites before kicking off the evening’s festivities.
The dining room was set with lush linens, gold chivari chairs, flowing floral arrangements, and floating candles.
The newlyweds entered and took to the dancefloor for their first dance as husband and wife to a very fitting song – At Last.
All of their children joined the couple for a second special dance to You’ve Got A Friend before the blessing of the bread and salad, served family style.
Guests enjoyed a fantastic steakhouse dinner with multiple entrée selections. There were touching toasts followed by the couple’s cake cutting, dessert, and a special treat.
After the last dance, guests were transported back to Tampa. The couple enjoyed their wedding night before hosting guests the following morning for brunch to close out their incredible wedding weekend.
Congratulations, Roberta and Matt! We wish you a lifetime filled with Special Moments.
