You Are My Sunshine – St Pete Beach Wedding

Our Special Moments Event Planning team worked for nearly two years with Amber and Amanda to plan their St. Pete Beach wedding. It was so much fun, and the details of their wedding day were incredible.

The day for each of them began with their wedding parties. From hair and makeup onsite at the hotel to relaxing with their wedding attendants and getting ready, the day was off to a beautiful start.

 

Incredible Personal Style

Amanda chose a beautiful lace ballgown with illusion sleeves, cream-colored shoes with rhinestones, and a textured bouquet in peaches and blues.

Amber went with a tan vested suit with a pale pink bowtie and pocket square. Accents included adorable cufflinks the read ‘you are my sunshine’ and these spectacular shoes that were the design inspiration for the entire wedding.

 

Love Is

The waterfront of the wedding venue was set with a unique driftwood wedding arch accented with soft fabric draping and swags of fresh flowers. Even the couple’s sanitizing station color-coordinated with the rest of the wedding.

Amber and the wedding party made their way down the aisle. The wedding party carried wooden plaques, each with pieces of the 1 Corinthians ‘Love Is’ passage, instead of bouquets.

With everyone in place, Amanda arrived to ‘Spend My Life With You’ by Eric Benet. Amber could barely hold back tears.

The couple exchanged wedding vows and rings in a wedding touching ceremony, surrounded by family and friends.

 

Fun Photos and Signature Cocktails

After a bit of fun with their wedding party and a group photo with all of their guest, the couple headed off for some pictures. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed signature cocktails and some passed hors d’ oeuvres on the balcony.

Guests also had the opportunity to leave the newlyweds some marriage advice and love on their custom Jenga guestbook.

 

 

ADORBS!

We just can’t get enough of Amber and Amanda’s wedding portraits! They are beyond adorable, and we had the hardest time picking just a few to share. The ‘Golden Hour’ photos, just before sunset and nothing short of amazing.

 

This Is Why I Love You!

The wedding team had brought Amanda and Amanda’s wedding vision to life inside the ballroom. The ceiling was draped with swags of iridescent fabric accented with fairy lights. Tables were draped with crisp white linens and accented with deep Navy-blue runners. Each table was dressed with beautiful floral arrangements, rose gold votive candles and charger plates layered with custom menu cards, and dinner’s first course.

But this incredible three-tiered wedding cake with beautiful scrollwork and pressed flowers stole the show.

We think that Amanda and Amber were pretty happy with the results!

After introductions, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance to ‘This Is Why I Love You” by Major.

A delicious dinner and touching toasts followed before a well-choreographed flash mob opened the dance floor for the night.

After a night filled with photobooth fun and plenty of dancing, the couple made their exit under a shower of silver confetti before heading off in a sweet classic car!
