You and Me By The Sea
Our Special Moments Event Planning team loved working with Leigh Ann and Jimmy. Their beautiful beach wedding at the Sandpearl included tons of fun beachy details.
One look at their wedding and you know that the beach is their happy place.
The Bride, the Groom, and the Details
After a morning of getting ready, Leigh Ann and Jimmy had their first look and a few photos with their wedding party and heading to the beach to exchange their vows.
We love the beautiful shades of pink in the bridesmaid’s dresses. Leigh Ann’s flowers and her bridesmaids’ incorporated flowers in pink hues with lots of texture. The guys wore pink suspenders and fun flamingo sox paired against soft blue slacks.
By The Sea
The beach is where the couple was exchanging their wedding vows. The Sandpearl Resort’s boardwalk was set with a ceremony structure draped in white fabric and accented with pink flowers and greenery. The aisle, lined with white chairs, was decorated with seagrass and starfish.
The bride made her entrance to “A Thousand Years’ joining her groom to exchange their wedding vows under a beautiful Clearwater Beach sky.
During the ceremony, the couple included a sand ceremony. We love the customized box they used for their sand ceremony. They incorporated the soft blues and pinks of their wedding décor and their photo on the beach.
The newlyweds sealed their wedding vows with a kiss to “You Make My Dream Come True” by Hall and Oats before heading off for some photos and cocktail hour by the resort’s pool.
Dinner, Dancing, and Details
The ballroom décor continued the soft pink florals. The room was set with a mix of floral arrangements. Tall centerpieces sat atop gold risers with low arrangements in coordinating gold bowls. The centerpieces included floating candles and votive candles in gold cups.
Just outside the ballroom doors, traditional escort cards were replaced with customized pieces of sea glass to help wedding guests find their sea-t.
Each place setting was layered with a gold charger plate, a crisp white napkin, a custom menu card, and a sweet treat. Colorful Swedish fish with the tag “two less fish in the sea.”
The beachy theme continued with the couple replacing their guestbook with messages in a bottle. Wedding cards were places in a distressed treasure chest decorated with kissing sea turtles. A bride and groom, of course!
And, of course, the beach theme continued into Leigh Ann and Jimmy’s wedding cake. The sand-colored four-tiered wedding cake incorporated waves, shells, and starfish. A bride and groom starfish topped the whimsical cake.
Congratulations, Leigh Ann and Jimmy! We wish you a lifetime filled with smooth seas.
