We LOVE A Happy Ending!

If you have been following our Special Moments Event Planning blog and social media for any length of time, you probably remember Ifreke and Obichime’s Nigerian wedding for 125 wedding guests that almost did not happen.

The winds were not in our favor and the tides rose. But together with an incredible team of wedding vendors, their amazing Clearwater Beach wedding came together.

 

 

Beautiful Wedding Portraits

While our team was busy organizing, moving and setting up their wedding ceremony and ballroom reception in a new location, our bride and groom were getting ready and taking some of their wedding portraits at the Opal Sands Resort on Clearwater Beach.

 

 

Grey skies outside did not stop the happy couple from smiling ear to ear as they had their first look and took some photos with their wedding party.

 

 

Behind The Scenes

Just a block away, the ballroom was being completely transformed for an incredible wedding ceremony and reception.

The center of the ballroom was set with a sleek white riser with white floor to ceiling draping. A table with the couple’s sand ceremony rested on a small white table below a spectacular round floral creation of white hydrangea and orchids with snapdragons and roses in the couple’s signature yellow color.

Clear acrylic ghost chairs lined the sides of the modern white dancefloor creating a shimmering aisle for the wedding processional.

 

 

A Night To Remember

Ifreke and Obichime, along with their family and friends enjoyed an evening of dancing and dining. Guest tables were draped in luxurious white linen and accented with tall glass trumpet vases overflowing with soft white and yellow florals along with a cascade of greenery and shimmer candles.

One of the highlights of the evening was the four-tiered beach themed wedding cake. The amazing cake came complete with edible sand against a bright blue background, shells, starfish and was topped off with two beach chairs.

 

 

Our Special Moments Event Planning team is beyond thrilled with this magnificent wedding and how everything came together. And needless to say, Ifreke and Obichime had the time of their lives.
