Two Days Were Twice As Nice!
Sofia and Kent’s Tampa Bay wedding involved two days and two different sides of the bay. It offered them plenty of time with family and friends, and we loved all the little details they included.
Day One In Dunedin
Day one of the two-day Tampa Bay wedding took place at the Andrews Memorial Chapel. Dressed and ready, it was time for Sofia and Kent’s first look.
Having spent some time together, it was time to head inside the chapel. With everyone seated, Kent waited patiently for his beautiful bride’s arrival.
The couple exchanged wedding rings and vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by friends and family. Sealing their vows with a kiss, they made their grand exit.
Tons of Time for Photos
Following their wedding ceremony and some light refreshments at the chapel, there was plenty of time for photos with their wedding party, family, and friends.
Then it was time for a little more alone time, where the couple strolled the grounds, having some beautiful wedding portraits captured.
Across Tampa Bay
Day two of this beautiful Tampa Bay wedding was hosted at The Orlo, an iconic Tampa mansion filled with elegant details and history.
Entering the mansion, the stairs are a beautiful focal point, and they were dressed for the occasion with candles and flowers.
The newlyweds greeted guests as they arrived before heading into cocktail hour to enjoy sips and nibbles with an excellent jazz ensemble, which was a group of friends of the couple.
Fun Details
During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a little “Bride and Groom Trivia” and were invited to write messages on Jenga blocks.
Additionally, the couple crafted a beautiful thumbprint tree guest book where family and friends could create leaves with their thumbprints and various colors of ink.
Next to the beautiful brick fireplace, a custom seating chart directed guests to their tables in the ballroom, where they found fun photo seating cards at their place settings.
Eat, Drink, and Be Married
Inside the ballroom, tables were draped with crisp white linens, burgundy colored napkins paired perfectly with the floral arrangements in shades of pink and burgundy. Gold chivari chairs made the whole room pop!
Off to one side was the couple’s Sweetheart table with a beautiful cascade of flowers. The incredible fabric drape framed the table perfectly.
Nearby, Sofia and Kent’s white wedding cake was dressed with an explosion of fresh flowers.
Following introductions of their wedding party, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, taking to the dance floor for their first dance.
The festivities continued with Kent’s dance with his mother, a few works from the couple that brought Sofia’s mother to tears, and several touching toasts.
The guests enjoyed a pre-set salad before being invited to the buffet for a delicious dinner. The newlyweds had their cake cutting before heading to the dance floor for a wonderful evening.
Congratulations, Sofia and Kent! We hope your two-day Tampa Bay wedding was twice the fun!
