This Clearwater Beach Wedding was YAY!

Our Special Moments Event Planning team loved working with Alex and Ethan on their incredible Clearwater Beach wedding. This blog post titled “YAY”! Pretty much sums up this fun, relaxed couple’s wedding day and was taken directly from their personalized cake topper!

Alex spent the morning relaxing and getting ready with her wedding party in their custom-designed t-shirts.

Across the resort, Ethan and the guys were preparing for the couple’s first look and wedding party photos. Each of the guys personalized their grey suit and blush ties wearing fun, unique socks.

 

 

After some photos of everyone getting ready, the wedding parties headed downstairs for Alex and Ethan’s First Look on the hotel’s grand staircase.

 

 

The staircase was the perfect location for the First Look with lots of natural light, clean lines and lots of glass. We love the smiles on both of their faces as they anticipate seeing each other for the first time.

 

 

One of our favorite details of the day was Alex’s cascading blush and white bridal bouquet with soft touches of greenery. It was the perfect complement to her lace gown and set the color story for the rest of the décor.

 

 

The ceremony space was completely set with soft white draping and twinkling lights set behind the white, fabric-covered chuppah. Three large swags of blush and white florals continued the color story into the wedding ceremony.

The couple, bridal party and family used this gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos prior to the wedding ceremony.

 

 

Following the photos, the couple met with the Rabbi for the traditional Ketubah signing before making their way to the chuppah.

 

 

With everyone in place, Alex was escorted by her parents as she made her way to the chuppah, while “You Are The Reason” by Calum Scott was playing in the background.

Surrounded by family and friends, Alex and Ethan exchanged wedding vows, received blessings and drank wine from the Kiddush cup.

 

 

Their wedding ceremony was sealed with a kiss under a shower of rose petals.

 

 

During the cocktail reception, the couple spent some time alone enjoying a private meal together, which included wine from their wedding ceremony.

As wedding guests enjoyed cocktails and hors ‘d ‘oeuvres, final touches were made to the wedding reception. Escort cards that showed each guest’s entrée selection was displayed amidst sand and shells.

Guest tables were draped in floor-length white linen, blush napkins with custom menu cards and blush and white florals alongside collections of candles.

 

 

After their introductions, Alex and Ethan had their First Dance to “Lean On Me”, followed by their parent dances and HaMotzi; a traditional blessing and breaking of the bread.

 

 

The evening continued with a welcome by the father of the bride and several toasts, a delicious dinner and Alex and Ethan cutting this beautiful four-tiered wedding cake.

 

 

The dancefloor was packed for a Hora, as wedding guests lifted the couple into the air and remained full while everyone danced the night away. The evening also included a photo booth, S’Mores Bar and these adorable beach themed cookies!
