Tampa Armature Works Wedding

We can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since Shaina and Tim’s amazing Tampa Armature Works wedding. This past week this awesome wedding with rustic touches was featured in Marry Me Tampa Bay – so we wanted to show you more of the incredible details.

Thanks Shaina!

Here’s a bit of what Shaina had to say about working with our Special Moments Event Planning team in her interview with Marry me Tampa Bay.

“I wanted to find a planner who would be able to understand my vision and make it become a reality,” the bride revealed. “I hired Special Moments Event Planning because I needed a day of coordinator. Tammy’s services were budget-friendly. When I went to meet her in person, she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. She was the best thing that could have happened to our wedding. Tammy and her team did such a fantastic job bringing everything we had envisioned to life. It was just fantastic to see when it all came together. The day ran so smoothly. We didn’t even feel like we were in a rush. I can’t thank her and her team enough for all that they did.”

Get Ready!

The getting ready photos are so much fun and filled with incredible details. The details in the flay lay photos captured all of the items that were special to both Shaina and Tim’s day. And, how awesome are the balloons as a backdrop of the Shaina and her wedding party?

We love the ease and the soft Boho styling of Shaina’s wedding gown. Everything from the open back of the gown, to her soft updo, selection of veil and this gorgeous bridal bouquet was on point. And, we LOVE the shoes!

Here Comes The Groom

Tim looked very handsome in a Navy blue suit with a light grey vest. The burgundy bow tie and pocket square added a nice pop of color. And how adorable are the custom cuff links Shaina gifted her groom-to-be?

First Look

The couple and their wedding party each headed over to the historic University Of Tampa for the couple’s First Look as well as some wedding party photos.

You Make My Dreams Come True

At the Armature Works the final touches were all in place for couple’s wedding ceremony. This rustic wooden hexagon wedding structure was a beautiful backdrop for Shaina and Tim to exchange their wedding vows, and detail found throughout the wedding.

Gathering

The ‘Gathering’ at the Armature Works is an incredible space with high ceiling, wooden floors and brick walls. The rustic , industrial backdrop blended so well with the burgundy, ivory, and blush, color story of the wedding.

The wedding reception décor blended long wooden farmhouse tables and crossed back hairs with white linen, burgundy napkins and touches of whimsy. Wooden hexagon centerpieces reflected the ceremony structure from earlier in the day. Each hexagon was filled with soft florals and greenery and surrounded by taper candles in hurricane globes and votive candles in mercury glass.

Introductions of the wedding party led to the arrival of the newlyweds and their first dance to ‘Over and Over Again’ by Nathan Sykes and Ariana.

The evening was filled with touching toasts, a delicious dinner buffet, a packed dancefloor and lots of funning the open-air photobooth.

After cutting their dramatic four tier naked wedding cake, the couple took to the dancefloor for one last song. ‘Come Sail Away’ by Styx. It a of Tim’s fraternity play it at every wedding.
