Susan and Peter’s Hilton Clearwater Beach Wedding

Susan and Peter’s fabulous Hilton Clearwater Beach wedding was filled with family, close friends, and lots of love. Our Special Moments Event Planning team is honored to be part of this special day.

Getting Started

The day began with Susan’s hair and makeup services. The photography and videography teams captured details of the day and the couple, who chose not to see each other before the wedding, getting ready.

 

 

 

Family

Once dressed and ready, Susan had a First Look and private moment with her son. Meanwhile, Peter was taking some time with his daughters in another part of the resort.

 

 

A Clearwater Beach Wedding

Outside on the beach of the Hilton Clearwater Beach, everything was in place for the couple’s beautiful beach wedding ceremony.

A boardwalk led to white garden chairs flanked by colorful floral arrangements, which trailed down the aisle of chairs, ending in swags of color on the ceremony structure.

 

 

To one side of the structure was a table set for a unique sand ceremony. Over a dozen bottles of colored sand were laid out across the table.

 

 

As each guest arrived, they were given a custom ceremony program highlighting the events and the family and friends participating.

 

 

Can’t Help Fallin’ In Love

With everyone in place, Peter waited for his bride’s arrival with his Best Man by his side.

 

 

Escorted by her son, Susan made her entrance to an instrumental violin version of “Can’t Help Fallin’ in Love With You.” 

 

 

The ceremony was filled with touching readings, special music sung by Susan’s son, Brian, and a unique Sand Ceremony where the officiant, family, and friends layered in colored sand before the couple added their sand to the vessel.

 

 

Following the exchange of rings and vows, the newlyweds sealed their bond with a kiss and made their exit.

 

 

Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony, everyone gathered for one large group photo before heading to the Water Edge Terrace for Cocktail Hour.

 

 

Guests collected their escort cards for seating assignments and enjoyed delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and the couple’s Signature Cocktail, a refreshing Mango Margarita.

 

 

From This Moment 

Inside the ballroom, tables were draped in crisp white linen and set with metallic tone charger plates. Each setting held a beautiful blue napkin rolled into a rose design and a sachet of Chocolate Sea Shells prepared by a friend of the couple. The center of each table was filled with candles and brightly colored floral arrangements.

 

 

Off to one side of the room was the newlywed’s sweetheart table, surrounded by beautiful flowers for the wedding ceremony.

 

 

To the side of the sweetheart table was the couple’s incredible three-tiered beach-themed wedding cake. It was decorated with sand, brilliant blue water, and sea shells. Our favorite detail may be the two beach chairs with tiny little margarita glasses on the tip of the cake.

 

 

With everyone gathered, the couple made their grand entrance, taking to the dance floor for their first dance to Shania Twain’s “From This Moment.”

 

 

The evening continued with several touching toasts, a blessing, and a delicious multi-course dinner offering guests Mahi-Mahi or Filet Mignon.

Following dinner and the cake cutting, Susan and Peter headed out to Clearwater Beach for some spectacular sunset wedding photos, returning to dance the night away.
