Saxon and John’s Clearwater Beach Wedding

Saxon and John’s beautiful Clearwater Beach wedding at the Opal Sands Resort was amazing. And it perfectly reflected the two of them as a couple.

 

 

For the ladies, the day began with hair and makeup services. This was followed by photographs of the bride’s wedding items and time to get dressed for group photos.

 

 

Then Saxon took a few minutes for a first look with her dad before heading off to see her groom-to-be!

We love first looks and how beautifully the couple’s emotions are captured. And this one was no different.

 

After a few group photos, it was time to tuck away while guests arrived for the ceremony. It was also time to relax and have a little touchup.

 

 

Here Comes The Bride!

With everyone in place, the bride-to-be made her way down the aisle to the sounds of Pachelbel’s Canon in D.

 

 

With the shimmering Gulf of Mexico as their backdrop, the couple exchanged wedding vows and rings in a touching ceremony, surrounded by loved ones.

 

 

Sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds made a grand exit to the theme from Rocky!

 

 

Sunset and Seafood

Following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds headed to the beach for incredible sunset photos and some time alone.

 

On the resort’s boardwalk, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour with a chilled Raw Bar that included Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Oysters, Cocktail Crab Claws, and Fresh Local Fish Ceviche.  

 

 

The cocktail hour also offered guests hand-passed hors d’oeuvres, including Applewood Bacon, Wrapped Diver Scallops, Chicken Pot Sticker with Ponzu Sauce, Fried Truffle Mac and Cheese Bruschetta with Sweet Tomato Jam, and Mini Greek Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce.

 

Dinner, Dancing, and Italian Cookies!

Inside the ballroom, all of the details were in place. Touching photos and remembrances filled the couple’s memorial table.

The guest’s tables were draped in white linen and accented with beautiful floral arrangements, floating candles, and linen runners. Rose gold chairs completed the look. And who doesn’t love a sachet filled with traditional Jordan Almonds?

 

Guests arrived to a delicious salad of Baby Spinach, Pear, Blueberries, Walnut, Blue Cheese, and Pomegranate Dressing.

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. 

 

 

Guests enjoyed an evening filled with touching toasts, a scrumptious multi-course dinner, and LOTS of dancing!

Toward the end of the evening, the couple cut their amazing three-tiered wedding cake. The cake contained layers of Red Velvet Cake and Chocolate Chocolate Cake, each with a different finish. We especially loved the rose gold ombre decor on the bottom layer – and the cake topper was too, too cute!

 

 

 

As if the cake wasn’t impressive enough, guests were treated to a yummy Dessert Bar filled with sweet treats and homemade cookies!
