On Top Of The World at the Sandpearl Resort

Our Special Moments Event Planning team was absolutely on top of the world working with Donna and Jim for their recent Sandpearl Resort wedding on Clearwater Beach. Donna was a very organized bride who knew exactly what she wanted.

 

To See Or Not To See

The morning of the wedding Jim spent time with the guys while Donna and the ladies had some breakfast, followed by hair and makeup, and then getting ready.

Donna looked stunning in her lace applique wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and a crystal edged veil. Her white bridal bouquet of roses, peonies, ranunculus, and freesia was breathtaking.

 

 

The couple chose to do what photographers call Split Formals.  Donna did photos of her getting ready with her bridal party and mother while Jim did his photos with groomsmen and family in a separate location.

After the split formals, Donna and Jim had their first look, just the two of them and then Donna was tucked away, so no one else couple saw her until she made her way down the aisle.

 

 

Beachside Wedding Ceremony

The couple’s beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony was set at the edge of Clearwater Beach.   The beach was adorned with white garden chairs, rectangular white columns at the beginning and end of the aisle topped with incredible arrangements of white flowers.

The alter space was set with a white table containing an hourglass for the couple’s sand ceremony with white sand for the bride, grey sand for the groom and beautiful blue sand for Jim’s daughter.

 

 

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Pool Lawn for cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres and soft violin music.

Donna and Jim took some time alone for some spectacular photos together.

 

 

Dancing Under The Stars

Guests made their way to the Sandpearl’s Gulf Lawn for an evening of dinner and dancing. They were welcomed by glasses of champagne with their seating assignments.

 

 

A white dancefloor was flanked with nearly a dozen round tables draped in white linen and set with slate-colored napkins, silver beaded glass charger plates, and silver votive candles. Arrangements of textured greenery, white roses, and floating candles finished the look.

 

 

The four columns which adorned the wedding ceremony were repositioned and draped with flowing white fabric to make a magnificent backdrop for the sweetheart table.

 

 

Donna and Jim made a grand entrance before taking to the dancefloor for their first dance to “Best Shot” by Jimmie Allen and a warm welcome for their family and friends.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and an evening filled with dancing and toasts. Traditional Greek music seemed to pack the dancefloor.

 

 

Toward the end of the evening, the newlyweds cut this amazing four-tiered white wedding cake with a monogrammed cake topper.

 

 

The reception ended with an enormous Cookie Table of Greek specialties courtesy of the groom’s mother and aunts. Guests were sent home with custom labeled bottles of olive oil and vinegar.
