Runnin’ Down A Dream

Missy and Charlie’s wedding was absolutely a dream! As they live out of town, we worked on a good bit of the planning with Missy’s sister.

The wedding day was filled with incredible details. There were so many details that this intimate wedding of close family and friends had nearly as many vendors as guests!

Getting Ready and The Couple’s First Look

The couple each spent the early part of the day with their wedding parties and getting ready. Before heading off to the Florida Botanical Gardens, they had their first look and some time alone.

With This Ring

Wedding guests enjoyed a pre-ceremony drink as they arrived at the botanical gardens. The wedding gazebo was draped in soft white fabric, accented with two large floral swags.

With the groom and wedding parties in place, Missy made her entrance, escorted by her mother.

The couple exchanged rings and wedding vows surrounded by family and friends. They ended the very personal ceremony with a kiss to the sounds of “Signed, Sealed, Delivered!”

Cocktails and Steel Drums

Following the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and the sounds of steel drums while exploring the gardens.

Meanwhile, the wedding garden ceremony was transformed into a fun evening filled with music and great food.

Missy and Charlie’s wedding invitation set the tone for all of the décor. The bright, colorful tropical flowers were perfect for the garden setting and were found everywhere. Colorful details included the custom welcome sign, fun personalized cocktail napkins, a floral monogram for the front of the bar, and the tabletops.

Other fun details included miniature succulents for each guest as a wedding favor and an album that guests were invited to autograph.

Following introductions, the evening flowed with touching toast, delicious food stations, a cigar roller, and the couple cutting their three-tiered wedding cake decorated with bright tropical flowers and custom bride and groom that look exactly like the.

Dessert included the yummy wedding cake and a huge display of cookies, including some Tom Petty-themed cookies.

The special treat for the evening was an incredible Tom Petty Impersonator. The newlyweds took to the dancefloor at the end of his set for their first dance to “I Need You.” He was pretty amazing and lots of fun, hanging out for photos with the couple.

Missy and Charlie were indeed “Runnin’ Down A Dream!” Congratulations!

Where do I even begin! If you are getting married locally or are a bride from out of state doing a destination wedding, you NEED to hire Tammy Waterman. My sister got married on 10/15/21.
