Physically Distant in Sarasota

It’s been nice for our Special Moments Event Planning team to slowly get back to doing weddings. And working with Gina and Chen on their incredible physically distant outdoor wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota was incredible.

 

 

The Suite Life in Sarasota

After their hair and makeup were done at the bride’s home, the wedding parties headed to the Powel Crosley Estate. There they would finish getting ready to enjoy some lunch in the estate’s Bride’s and Groom’s Suites.

The couple began with individual photos of them getting ready and some of the wedding details.

 

 

 

This was followed by the bride and groom doing photos separately with their wedding party and individual families.

 

 

His and Hers

Chen looked handsome in his dark Navy-blue three-piece suite with matching necktie and boutonniere of white ranunculus and greenery.

 

 

Gina was stunning in her open back wedding gown with lace detailing. She carried a loose hand-tied bouquet of antique and white roses, white ranunculus, succulents, and eucalyptus.

 

 

Falling In Love

The bride made her entrance to ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ by United Guitar Players. The two exchanged their wedding vows on the outdoor terrace under a crystal chandelier. Wedding guests were assigned seats by family groupings. Each row of gold chivari chairs was given a number corresponding to a seating chart that our Special Moments Event Planning team created.

 

 

Following the intimate wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and a fun photo booth. At the same time, the couple headed off for some wedding photos together.

 

 

Dance the Night Away

Across the lawn, tables were spaced six feet apart and set with white linens, and dusty rose napkins and flowers in white and rose. Gold chairs added some pop to the spacious outdoor reception. Inside, the elegant fireplace mantle created a beautiful backdrop for this fantastic and delicious, four-tiered rose and gold wedding cake that guests enjoyed later in the evening.

 

 

Following their introductions, the newlyweds had their first dance to ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. Parent dance and a welcome by the couple’s parents lead into a delicious served buffet dinner and an evening of dancing.

The night ended with ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift, before the couple made their exit to a getaway boat under a cascade of bubbles.
