Love and Warm Candlelight

Rebecca and Jacobs’s wedding was one of love and family with warm candlelight throughout the evening, and our Special Moments Event Planning team loved working with them.

The beautiful wedding took place on Clearwater Beach at the Sandpearl Resort. Family and friends traveled in from all over the world to celebrate the wedding that occurred on the last night of Hanukkah.

The modern invitation suite was designed in classic black and white with the addition of the names of the couple in Hebrew.

 

 

The traditional Jewish wedding ceremony could not begin until after sunset, allowing plenty of time for a first look and wedding portraits.

Rebecca wore a ballgown with illusion lace sleeves, satin button detailing down the back and accessorized with a cathedral length veil and a hand-tied bridal bouquet of white garden roses and peonies mixed with seeded eucalyptus and ruscus.

Jacob wore a classic black tuxedo with satin shawl color, bow tie and a boutonniere of white tea roses, genestra and seeded eucalyptus.

 

 

As sunset approached, the couple, family and wedding party gathered with the Rabbi for the ketubah signing before the outdoor wedding ceremony.

 

 

The outdoor, beachside wedding ceremony was held under a beautifully decorated chuppah. As darkness approached and the sun continued to set, the ceremony space was lit with hanging market lights.

The chuppah was adorned with twinkle lights mixed into the ropes of white hydrangea, roses, and greenery. Soft up lighting was added around the chuppah to illuminate the couple as they exchanged their wedding vows.

 

 

Wedding guests made their way inside to the Sandpearl’s Hunter Ballroom, which was draped in flowing white fabric and washed in a soft, warm candlelight glow.

Dining tables, white leather lounge furniture and a long table for the wedding party surrounded an oversized white dance floor. Rebecca and Jacob were seated on a riser overlooking the evening’s festivities.

 

 

Guests tables were draped in white linen with beautiful white floral centerpieces and accented with gold-rimmed charger plates and gold Chiavari ballroom chairs.

 

 

The evening began with Rebecca and Jacob’s first dance, who along with their families enjoyed a traditional hora. The dances were followed by HaMotzi and the lighting of the candles for the last night of Hanukkah.

 

 

The reception that followed included a number of very touching, personal toasts, a delicious dinner that included a Kosher dinner for many guests and a dance floor that seemed to stay packed all evening.

 

The festivities ended with the cutting of this amazing, and delicious, five-tiered buttercream wedding cake accented with clusters of white and cream roses.
