Laura and Chris’s Tampa Waterfront Wedding

The Tampa Waterfront was a spectacular backdrop for Laura and Chris’s wedding. Their sage green, blue, and gold color story worked beautifully with the outdoor space and the industrial vibes of the indoor reception venue.

Getting Ready

The couple, along with their wedding parties, got ready on opposite sides of Tampa Bay as they chose not to see each other before the ceremony,

For the ladies, the order of the day was bonding time, hair and makeup, and getting ready. We love tiny, personal wedding details, and if you look carefully inside Chris’s wedding ring, you’ll see something very special.

Another favorite wedding detail was Chris’s custom cufflinks. They contained images of the couple’s pups!

That’s My Dad!

With everyone dressed, it was time for Laura’s first look with her dad. It was adorable!

Following their time together, both Laura and Chris headed off the wedding venue with their wedding parties. Still not seeing each other, the groups took wedding party photos on opposite sides of the property.

With This Ring

The Tampa Waterfront framed the couple’s wedding ceremony perfectly! The venue’s lawn was set with white garden chairs, and the aisle was lined with spectacular greenery, white flowers, and modern gold lanterns filled with flowers that led to a Moon Gate ceremony structure.

On each seat was placed a custom wedding program. One side shared fun facts about the couple and their story. The second side, titled ‘So You Are About To Sit Through A Wedding,’ shared the details of the wedding day.

With everyone in place, Laura entered, escorted by her father, to a mashup of Pachelbel’s Cannon in D and Here Comes The Sun by Nicole Reynolds.

Wedding Planning Tip: If you have yet to hear this mix of two beautiful wedding songs, check it out on YouTube. It’s pretty amazing!

The couple exchanged wedding vows in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Another fantastic addition to their wedding ceremony was ‘Warming of the Rings.’

Before exchanging wedding rings, they were passed amongst the wedding party and the couple’s parents to hold, pray over, and infuse with love and positive energy. It was gorgeous!

Kiss Me Twice

To end the ceremony, the couple sealed their wedding vows with a kiss. And then they stopped again halfway up the aisle for a second kiss!

Cocktails and Photos

After the wedding ceremony, guests made their way to the venue’s deck for cocktail hour.  They enjoyed light bites, cocktails, and views of the couple and their wedding parties, taking portraits along the Tampa waterfront.

We loved the couple’s signature drink suggestions, direct from their pups, Bodee and Remi!

Bodee’s Recommendation: Whiskey and Coke with Lime

Remi’s Recommendation: Tequila, Grapefruit Juice, soda Water and Lime

Meanwhile, the couple had a fantastic time taking wedding portraits.

Dinner and Dancing

Inside the ballroom, tables were draped with crisp white linens and decorated with floral arrangements of lush tropical greenery and white flowers. Gold risers, charger plates, and candles added a pop of color.

A hedge wall created a beautiful backdrop with the couple’s name in custom neon. And the Moon Gate ceremony structure made the perfect backdrop for their newlywed’s sweetheart table.

Following introductions, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, followed by parent dances and a few toasts.

A delicious multi-course dinner and cake cutting rounded out the evening before everyone took to the dance floor to dance the night away.

The couple exited surrounded by loved ones before hopping on a boat to their hotel!

Congratulations, Laura and Chris! We’re thrilled we got to be part of your special moments.
