Kristin and Vic’s Hyatt Clearwater Wedding
When we say that Kristin and Vic are a true fit, we absolutely mean it! This incredible couple met when Kristin got a pass for a local gym, and Vic was the one showing her the facilities. It was love at first sight when they met at TruFit!
Getting Ready
The day began for Kristin and the bridal party with on-site hair and makeup services, the team capturing wedding details, the wedding party having a little fun, and a pillow fight with her sister, who was her Matron of Honor.
Don’t Forget The Guys
Somewhere across the hotel, Vic and the guys were getting dressed for his First Look and taking a few group photos.
Ladies First
Before heading off for her First Look with her groom-to-be, Kristin’s wedding party got a sneak peek.
Dad’s Turn
It was time to have a private moment with Dad!
Kristin and Vic’s First Look!
With Vic in position at the top of the hotel’s grand staircase, it was time for him to see his bride-to-be for the first time! And you know our Special Moments Event Team LOVES a great first look!
A Ceremony in the Sky
Outside on the hotel’s sky Terrace, everything was in place for the couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking Clearwater Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
White garden chairs formed an aisle leading to a fabric-draped wedding structure. It was adorned with dusty rose and light blue flowers. A color scheme that continued throughout the wedding.
Here Comes The Bride!
Vic looked on as Kristin, escorted by her dad, made their way down the aisle. “1000 Years” by Christina Perri was the perfect choice. It was a touching moment, and he was overcome with emotion.
Wedding Planner Note:
We occasionally hear that having a First Look takes away from the emotion of seeing each other for the first time. Clearly, this is not the case, as Kristin and Vic had just had their First Look a short time before the wedding ceremony.
With This Ring
The couple, surrounded by family and friends, exchanged wedding rings and vows, sealing their bond with a kiss and making their exit to “Dancing In The Moonlight.”
Everyone Say Cheese!
Before heading off to enjoy cocktail hour on the hotel’s Belleaire Terrace, the newlyweds and everyone in attendance gathered for one huge group photo.
A Sneak Peek
While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, the newlyweds made their way to the ballroom for a sneak peek.
Just outside the ballroom was a custom Welcome sign, along with escort cards, beautiful floral pieces, and photos of the couple.
The bar area featured a custom neon sign on a hedge wall, a signature cocktail menu that included a nod to some special pups, and fun cocktail napkins approved by the pups, Stella and Leo.
Tables were dressed in crisp white linen, and white napkins rested on gold-toned charger plates. The mirrored tile in the center of the table held fresh flowers in a gold-toned vase, votive candles, and stylish table numbers.
The couple’s sweetheart table was set off to one end of the room, adorned with an explosion of flowers and greenery.
On the side of the room, the couple’s intimate two-tiered wedding cake was dressed in fresh flowers and a custom cake topper.
Eat, Drink, and Be Married
With guests in their seats, Kristin and Vic made their grand entrance to “Treasure” by Bruno Mars, taking to the dance floor for their first dance to “Speechless” by Dan and Shay.
Following the two touching parent dances, the bride and groom were treated to an exceptional performance of the Rascal Flatts song “God Bless The Broken Road” by one of their bridesmaids.
The evening continued with a delicious multicourse dinner and toasts by family and the wedding party.
With the sun setting, Kristin and Vic snuck outside for some fantastic sunset wedding portraits.
Returning to the reception, the newlyweds cut their cake, opening both the dessert and coffee station and the dance floor.
They, along with family and friends, packed the dance floor for the remainder of the evening. (We know they’re somewhere in there!)
Congratulations, Kristin and Vic! We’re so glad to be part of one of your special moments!
