It Was Always You

Spoiler Alert: ‘Always You’ was the beautiful song that Erica walked down the aisle to as she married the love of her life, Ryan.

This Sandpearl Resort wedding in shades of pink and champagne was beautiful. But, the love and laughter between this couple stole the show.

Erica spent the morning getting ready with her wedding party, sipping a little champagne, and getting ready for her first look with Ryan.

Across the resort, Ryan was anxiously getting ready with his groomsmen. He looked very handsome in a classic black tuxedo with a pocket square and white orchid boutonniere.

Erica shimmered in her form-fitting crystal embellished wedding gown. We love that she chose to wear her hair down with a rhinestone headband.

 

Let’s Talk About That Bouquet!

This beautiful bridal bouquet combined shades of soft pink and white. The eclectic look incorporated Queen Protea, Pink Anthurium, Cream Roses, and Pink Tulips with touches of greenery. The bouquet has so much texture!

One of our favorite bouquet details is always something that makes it personal. Erica’s bouquet incorporated a photo locket and a charm that read “always in my heart” on a piece of tattered blue plaid fabric.

On her way outside, the bride took some time for a first look and some beautiful photos with her father.

 

We Love A Great First Look

It’s no secret that our Special Moments Event Planning team loves a great first look. We know it’s a personal choice and not for everyone. Photos like these of the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time are so special.

Following their first look and some portraits, the couple took time for lots of family and wedding party photos before heading off to freshen up before their wedding ceremony.

 

The North Beach

Everything was in place on the resort’s North Beach for Erica and Ryan’s wedding ceremony. White garden chairs lined the beach, accented with clusters of greenery. At the end of the aisle stood two white columns topped with an explosion of pink and white flowers.

 

Always You

With everyone in place, Erica made her entrance to ‘Always You’ by Ingrid Michaelson

escorted by her father.

Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in a beautiful beach wedding ceremony.

Following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds headed off for some time alone while guests enjoyed cocktails on the Pool Lawn.

 

Champagne and Starfish

Our Special Moments Event Planning team displayed guests’ escort cards on starfish resting in a bed of sand. Each card showed their name, table number, and the image of either a starfish or sand dollar. Each image indicated their entrée selection.

The ballroom was bathed in soft lighting. Tables are draped in shimmering champagne Lamour linen. Tables were dressed with either tall glass vases overflowing with pink and white flowers or glass cylinders with submerged orchids and floating candles.

Each place was set with a gold charger plate, custom menu card, and first course in a four-course dinner.

The newlywed’s sweetheart table overflowed with floral pieces and starfish. The two beautiful ceremony arrangements were repurposed to accent the couple’s table.

The couple’s unique three-tiered pink and white ombre wedding cake was displayed just beyond their sweetheart table.

Following introductions and the couple’s first dance, and a welcome by the bride’s parents, the night flowed with delicious food, touching toasts, and an anniversary dance before coming to a close with a group dance to Bohemian Rhapsody.
