Gabby and John ‘s Clearwater Wedding
Gabby and John’s Clearwater wedding was a unique blend of Gatsby-era elegance and a holiday color story, with striking pops of greenery. And that’s just the beginning.
The couple has been together for nine years, and their wedding date was the anniversary of their wedding proposal. The day was filled with touching moments, personal details, and lots of family love.
Begin with Breakfast
The day for each of them began with breakfast and some bubbly in their suites, accompanied by their wedding parties.
For Gabby and her wedding party, the services included hair and makeup, some fun photos, and wedding details, as well as Gabby’s mom helping her with her dress.
Over in John’s Suite
John hung out with his wedding party, dressing, and enjoying time together before heading downstairs for some special time with his bride-to-be.
Back in the Bridal Suite!
Back in Gabby’s suite, with her dressed and ready, it was time for her wedding party to see her.
Gabby headed downstairs, escorted by her wedding party, for a special moment with John.
A Touching Moment
Gabby and John decided that rather than a “First Look,” they would have a first touch. With “Bride” and “Groom” sleeping masks as blindfolds, the two stood side by side, just around the corner from each other.
As if touching each other’s hands wasn’t emotional enough, they also chose to exchange personal notes. And that’s when everyone melted.
With This Ring
The ballroom was set with elegant draping as a backdrop for the couple’s wedding ceremony, accented by a beautiful floral wedding structure.
With everyone in their places, John looked on as Gabby, escorted by her mother, made her entrance to “Experience” by Ludovico Einaudi, Daniel Hope, and I Virtuosi Italiano.
Gabby and John exchanged wedding rings, read wedding vows to each other, and included a Tree Planting Ceremony before sealing their vows with a kiss and exiting to “Now and Then” by the Beatles.
Heading to the Beach
Inside, wedding guests enjoyed cocktails and nibbles while the couple’s immediate family and wedding party headed to the beach for some fun photos.
As the sun began to set, the newlyweds took time for some amazing sunset wedding portraits before rejoining everyone inside for dinner and dancing.
“And Now, After 9 Years Together!”
Inside the ballroom, tables were draped in crisp white linens. The tables were accented with floating candles, holiday greenery, and tiny vases of baby’s breath. Each place setting contained a traditional sachet filled with five white Jordan Almonds.
The couple’s sweetheart table was decorated in holiday colors, and the draping behind the table made the perfect accent. Off to one side was their beautiful, three-tiered wedding cake, complete with a custom cake topper.
Family, wedding party, and the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the ballroom to the sounds of “Hey Ya” by The Outkast.
“And now, after 9 years together, I present to you the new Mr. & Mrs. John & Gabrielle Mathias” was how the newlyweds chose to be introduced before taking to the dance floor for their first dance to “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith.
Following dances with their mothers, the newlyweds took their seats for a blessing by John’s grandmother, a delicious dinner, and several touching toasts.
Cutting their wedding cake, Gabby and John headed to the dancefloor for a night of dancing, ending with “Amazed” by Lonestar, some fun photos with gold streamer wands, and closing the night with Closing Time” by Semisonic.
What a fun, personalized, and touching wedding reception. And we love their eclectic music choices.
Congratulations, Gabby and John! Thanks for including us in so many special moments!
