Emily and Chris’s Clearwater Beachfront Wedding

Emily and Chris’s Clearwater Beachfront wedding was a beautiful combination of elegance, sophistication, and a relaxed beach vibe.

With a soft color palette and the Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop, the ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing took place right at the edge of the beach with a stunning sunset behind them.

Getting Ready

Emily and her bridal party started the day with a Continental Breakfast in the bridal suite, where they also had hair and makeup done. The morning was spent relaxing, enjoying time together, photographing wedding details, and celebrating the day.

Across the hotel, Chris and the guys were also getting ready, toasting the day and preparing for Chris’s first look at his beautiful bride-to-be.

We Love First Looks

Our Special Moments Event Planning team loves First Looks, and that’s no secret. So, this wedding had three First Looks, and they made us smile.

First was the bridal party’s first look with Emily, along with a few group portraits in the suite.

Then it was time for Emily’s dad to see her for the first time. It was a truly touching moment.

It’s Chris’s Turn!

Last, but certainly not least, it was Chris’s turn to see Emily for the first time. It was very emotional as Chris struggled to hold back tears.

After their First Look, they decided to exchange vows privately. We’re seeing this more often, and it’s an excellent way for them to share more personal thoughts about their relationship that might not be expressed in front of a larger crowd.

Time to Freshen Up

After their First Look, the couple took time for wedding photos with their immediate family and wedding party. Finishing these early in the day gives them time to enjoy the guests and the reception later.

They then took a little time to freshen up before the wedding ceremony on Clearwater Beach.

Married on Clearwater Beach

Just beyond the hotel, Clearwater Beach featured white garden chairs, stunning floral decorations, and a walkway leading to an elegantly draped wedding structure adorned with fresh flowers and greenery.

With everyone in place, Emily, escorted by her father, made her entrance to Pachelbel’s Canon in D while Chris watched with the biggest smile!

The couple exchanged wedding rings and blessings during a beautiful ceremony officiated by the groom’s sister. The event ended with a traditional glass breaking, and the newlyweds sealed their bond with a kiss before walking out to “Loving You Is Easy” by Zac Brown Band.

A Beachfront Cocktail Hour

Just beyond the ceremony area, guests headed to the cocktail hour. A surfboard-inspired welcome sign sat next to a seating chart with the words “From Coast to Coast All The People We Love The Most” written across the top.

The cocktail hour featured a delicious sushi display, fruit and cheese platter, seafood bar, and passed appetizers like grilled baby lamb chops.

Signature cocktails and mocktails included a Watermelon Basil Refresher, Margaritas on the Rocks, and a Watermelon Mojito Mocktail.

Dinner And Dancing Under The Stars

The outdoor reception area featured elegant white lounge furniture, a long feasting table for the wedding party, and tables covered in crisp white linens surrounding the dance floor.

White Chivari ballroom chairs and elegant white floral centerpieces with touches of greenery completed the look.

Off to one side was a table with photos of the couple and a spot to leave them a special note or words of wisdom. A wooden box with custom matches added a nice personal touch.

Someone Like You

With friends and family gathered, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and took to the dancefloor for their first dance to “Someone Like You” by Van Morrison.

The evening went on with parent dances and several heartfelt and funny toasts before opening multiple amazing food stations.

Sneaking off for a few sunset photos, Emily and Chris returned to cut their intimate wedding cake. Guests enjoyed a delicious dessert and coffee station before hitting the dance floor to dance the night away under the stars.

This magical evening ended with a final dance to “Friends In Low Places” before heading into the resort for an afterparty.

Congratulations, Emily and Chris. Wishing you a lifetime of special moments.
