Emily and Austin’s Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Wedding

The Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach set a beautiful backdrop for Emily and Austin’s Clearwater Beach wedding.

This adorable couple’s travel-themed wedding incorporated fun personal touches, handmade elements, and incredible food. Our Special Moments Event Planning team loved working with them and watching it all come together.

 

 

Let’s Get This Party Started

The day began with hair and makeup services for Emily and the ladies, a little bubbly, and some fun photos.

 

 

Meanwhile, Austin and the guys hung out, got ready, and spent some time doing some photogs together.

 

 

That’s My Dad!

Dressed and ready, Emily was set for the first of several First Looks. Up first was an awesome reveal with her father.

 

 

Hey Ladies!

The next reveal was to her incredible bridal party. We love their beautiful light purple dresses. They were part of a color story that incorporated light purple, tan, and touches of greenery.

 

 

Last, But Certainly Not Least

Finally, it was time for Emily and Austin’s First Look. The resort’s staircase created a secluded setting for the couple to spend time together and exchange vows privately.

 

 

Family and Friends 

Before walking down the aisle, the couple took photos with their wedding party and immediate family. 

 

 

Taking as many of these group photos as possible before the wedding allows lots of time later on for their portraits and to enjoy the wedding reception.

 

Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher!

The resort’s Pool Lawn was set for Emily and Austin’s intimate wedding ceremony. It was framed by several large boxwood walls. White garden chairs led to several tall rustic wooden boxes overflowing with tropical greenery, palm trees, and a beautiful blue Clearwater sky.

 

 

With everyone in their places, Austin waited anxiously for his bride’s arrival. Escorted by her father, Emily made her entrance to ‘Here Comes The Sun!’

 

 

The couple exchanged rings and bound their lives together in a touching Unity Sand Ceremony. ‘Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher’ was the perfect song for this loving couple’s recessional.

 

 

Cocktails and Sunsets

While wedding guests enjoyed cocktails and light bites, including Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Spanakopita, Beef Brisket Sliders, and Shrimp Cocktails, the newlyweds headed to the beach for portraits as the sun began to set.

And the photos are magical! 

 

 

Let The Fun and Games Begin!

Inside the ballroom, all the details were in place for a fabulous, personalized, and fun evening!

Guests would be greeted by a seating chart reading ‘Safe Travels To Your Seat’ that included tables labeled with several of the couple’s favorite travel locations.

 

 

Each table contained a fun photo of the couple in that location. The decor for each table included vases and candle holders made of colorful fused glass created by the bride’s mother! They were accented with palm fronds, sea shells, and tropical flowers.

 

 

Just inside the ballroom doors were a touching memorial, a table showcasing wedding photos from the bride and groom’s families. A framed black puzzle with the couple’s wedding date invited guests to leave a message. 

 

 

Side tables held an assortment of fun board games, and guests could create their wedding edition of Mad Libs or answer crossword puzzle questions about the couple.

 

 

Dinner and Dancing

Following introductions, Emily and Austin took to the dance floor for their First Dance to ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Adele.

 

 

This was followed by a Welcome Speech by the father of the bride before guests enjoyed a delicious dinner with options that included Chicken with Broccolini and  Cauliflower Puree, Sea Bass with a Miso Glaze and Asian Vegetables, Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables or Truffle Gnocchi as a Vegetarian option.

 

 

The evening continued with several touching toasts, a Thank You by the newlyweds, and parent dances before taking to the dance floor to dance the night away.

Not huge fans of cake, Emily and Austin opted for delicious Cookies from Crumbles in various flavors!

 

 

It’s easy to see that everyone had an incredible time!
