Creating Drama

Drama is not something our Special Moments Event Planning wants on a wedding day. As a matter of fact, we go above and beyond to create a calm and stress-free environment for your wedding.

We recently had the opportunity to work with our friends at Marry Me Tampa Bay, the newly renovated Hotel Alba and an incredible team of local Tampa area wedding professionals to create a little drama.

The goal of this inspired wedding styled shoot was to highlight the hotel’s unique contemporary features, as well as the serenity couples experience.

 

 

Our Lead Dream Maker Tammy Waterman’s quote from the Marry Me Tampa feature really sums up the concept and our experience.

By incorporating soft lighting and draping, we were able to really showcase that the reception space can look a whole lot different than your typical hotel ballroom,” Special Moments Events owner Tammy Watermen explained. “We really wanted to display the potential that the hotel has to offer for weddings, and not follow the most recent trends. By mixing colors and concepts that people would not normally choose for their wedding, we were able to bring the unique style that Hotel Alba offers to life.

The shoot showcased all of the incredible elements of the hotel; from living plant walls to amazing outdoor spaces and hotel rooms.

 

The wedding décor was whimsical and filled with drama. The ceremony décor created a romantic and dramatic first look.

 

 

Amazing lighting, shimmering linen, and fanciful floral décor all played into transporting you to another place for the couple’s wedding reception.

 

 

Everything came together creating an out of the box experience that took you to a place beyond a hotel ballroom.

We think the video of the styled shoot brought the hotel and all of the pieces of the day together perfectly.
