Spreading Love: A Wyndham Clearwater Beach Wedding

Lakiska and Robert were absolutely spreading love during their recent Wyndham Clearwater Beach wedding. Watching them together, it was easy for our Special Moments Event Planning team to see how important family, faith, and music are to them and those who surround them.

 

Diamonds In Her Hair

Lakiska looked beautiful in her long flowing wedding gown with an illusion V-neckline. She sparkled in her crystal-embellished bodice, veil, and crown, carrying a bouquet in shades of purple and lavender.

 

 

And, Robert looked quite handsome in his grey suit with a purple vest, bowtie, and boutonniere. Grey and shades of purple were colors incorporated into both the wedding party’s attire and the wedding décor.

 

 

Before heading off to see her groom-to-be, Lakiska took a few minutes to pray with her bridal party.

 

 

Lakiska and Robert’s First Look

The Wyndham Grand’s sweeping modern staircase made the perfect backdrop for Lakiska and Robert’s first look. And, we loved seeing her smile as she made her way down the stairs to her groom. Robert waited patiently for her arrival.

 

 

The Wedding Ceremony

Natural light filled the hotel’s ceremony space. Chairs swagged with purple fabric lined the aisle leading to the ceremony structure of flowing white fabric and purple floral arrangements. Additionally, boxwood walls were used to finish the look, flanking the ceremony structure and table for the couples’ sand ceremony.

 

 

Individual bottles of hand sanitizer were provided to guests, with wedding programs and bubble wands in each seat.

 

 

Here Comes The Bride

Escorted by her father, Lakiska made her grand entrance to ‘Diamonds in Her Hair,’ an original composition sung by Robert, a professional R&B artist.

 

 

Following their exchange of rings and sand ceremony, the newlyweds sealed their vows with a kiss. Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder was their song of choice as they made their way through a shower of bubbles.

 

 

Sunset on Clearwater Beach

The couple and their family made their way outside for some photos on Clearwater Beach and a private memorial service for a dear friend and honorary bridesmaid.

 

The Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Ballroom

Meanwhile, inside the ballroom was set with tables separated into individual family groupings. Tables were covered in crisp white linens, accented with custom purple table numbers and floating candles in glass cylinders with submerged flowers.

 

 

Plum-colored linen and purple and white floral arrangements with crystal candle globes surrounded the couple’s sweetheart table. And, a backdrop of purple and sparkling silver framed the couple’s table.

 

 

Celebrate!

The couple began an evening filled with music and family with their first dance to ‘Cover You,’ another song by the groom.

 

 

Following the couple’s first dance, parent dances, and a blessing by the bride’s parents, the bride’s father shared a beautiful saxophone solo. Toasts and a praise dance led into dinner service.

 

 

After dinner, Lakiska and Robert cut their amazing three-tiered wedding cake. Purple scroll details and a monogram to match their silver cake topper adorned the beautiful wedding cake.

 

 

The newlywed’s evening came closed with ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina & the Waves – the perfect ending to a beautiful Clearwater Beach wedding.
