Cassie and Matt’s Ybor City Wedding

Cassie and Matt’s Ybor City wedding was pure joy! The day was incredible, and every time you saw them, they were laughing or crying. The day just overflowed with emotion.

 

 

Sparkly Sneakers and Bow Ties

The wedding day started with hair and makeup for the ladies, a little time for fun photos, getting dressed and plenty of detail photos. We love Cassie’s unique sparkly sneakers and “just married” socks. Because a girl’s gotta have something to dance in!

 

 

Meanwhile, Matt and the guys hung out, shared a toast or two, and got ready for the couple’s first look.

 

 

Trendy and Tasteful

Our Special Moments Event team is seeing an increasing number of couples who are not only having a first look but are often exchanging wedding vows or reading notes to each other. 

 

 

We LOVE the emotion and love that they have a special private moment. 

 

Wedding Portraits in Ybor City

Wedding portraits in urban areas are so much fun. They are packed with texture and personality. Ybor City is the ultimate, as everywhere you look, there is something unique.

 

 

After their wedding portraits, Cassie and Matt took some family and wedding party photos.

The ladies looked stellar. Their bouquets, on shimmering metal hoops, were a playful touch and cute. The guys looked pretty dapper, too!

 

 

You Are The Reason

The ceremony space was set with floating candles, lanterns, and rose petals filling the aisle. They led to a gorgeous hexagon-shaped wedding structure swagged with white fabric and dressed with large floral pieces.

 

 

With everyone in place, Cassie, escorted by her father, made her entrance to “You Are The Reason.” The look on Matt’s face says it all!

 

 

After exchanging wedding rings and vows, the couple sealed their vows with a kiss before heading off for an incredible evening.

 

 

Eat, Dance, and Be Married

Inside the hotel’s ballroom, tables were draped with soft linens and accented with burnt orange napkins, gold-toned charger plates, and an eclectic collection of floral centerpieces.

Floral arrangements in burgundy, blush pink, and orange were paired with rose petals and floating candles.

 

 

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to “Falling Like The Stars” by James Arthur.

 

 

This was followed by parent dances and several touching toasts that left the couple crying one minute and laughing hysterically the next.

 

 

After an incredible multi-course dinner, Cassie and Matt cut their intimate, semi-naked wedding cake with an adorable custom cake topper. 

 

 

The couple and their guests danced the night away, stopping long enough to spend time in their photo booth and enjoy freshly rolled cigars with custom labels – it is Ybor City, after all!
