Briana and Alex’s Westin Tampa Bay BlueVu Wedding

BluVu at the Westin Tampa Bay, with its views of the shimmering water and blue skies, provided incredible backdrops for Briana and Alex’s wedding. Our Special Moments Event Planning team was so excited to provide Wedding Day Management services for their fabulous day!

 

 

Let’s Get This Party Started!

The day began early for the ladies with on-site hair and makeup services. The photography team was there to document wedding details, getting ready, and the bridal parties’ first look at the bride!

 

 

Across the hotel, the groom and groomsmen exchanged gifts, bonding, and getting dressed and ready!

 

 

I Do, With A BluVu

BluVu, located at the top of the hotel, has wall-to-wall windows overlooking Tampa Bay and the skyline. A beautiful white floral arch and an aisle filled with floral arrangements add to the stunning backdrop.

With everyone in place, Alex, escorted by his parents, made his way down the aisle, followed by the couple’s wedding party.

 

 

Elegant harp music filled the space as Briana, escorted by her parents, entered to “Turning Page.”

 

 

Surrounded by family and friends, Briana and Alex exchanged wedding rings and vows before sealing their bond with a kiss.

 

 

The Newlyweds

While guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d ‘oeuvres, and a beautiful Charcuterie display, the newlyweds took wedding portraits around the resort.

 

 

Spectacular!

Inside BluVu, tables were draped in Champagne-colored linens. Gold chiavari chairs and gold-toned napkins added warmth to the modern tablescape of glass and candles that overflowed with white flowers. We loved the little touches like the monogrammed accents on each Champagne glass. 

 

 

The newlywed’s sweetheart table overflowed with a luxurious rope of flowers accented by taper candles in gold candlesticks.

 

 

Off to one side was Briana and Alex’s spectacular eight-tiered wedding cake. We love the incredible details in this classic design.

 

 

Dance The Night Away!

Following introductions, Briana and Alex took to the dancefloor for their first dance to an acoustic version of “Latch” by Sam Smith.

 

 

This was followed by traditional family dances, a blessing by the bride’s brother, and a welcome toast by the bride’s father.

 

 

Guests enjoyed a delicious multi-course meal that ended with the couple cutting their towering wedding cake. 

 

 

The DJ kept the dancefloor packed the entire evening, closing the night with “Give Me Love” by Ed Sheeran.

 

 

As a wedding favor, the newlyweds shared beautiful custom wedding cookies with guests as they headed home.
