Boho Chic Clearwater Beach Wedding

Our Special Moments Event Planning team loved working with Melissa and Joe on their Clearwater Beach wedding. If we had to label their wedding style, we’d have to call it Beachy Boho Chic.

The color palette was filled with soft pinks, creamy whites, and delicately embroidered lace. The vibe was peaceful and relaxed and filled with special moments that included family, especially their kids.

 

Sorry Joe, Nothing Personal

Whenever we write about getting ready photos, we always try to balance the time between each partner. We share details of each of their morning and wedding portraits. Joe looked very handsome in his perfectly tailored suit, pale pink necktie, and a single white rose boutonniere.

But this ‘Getting Ready’ section is all about Melissa. We LOVE the adorable Boho details of her wedding attire. The look started with the adorable matching robes with the lace edge detailing.

With its luxurious embroidered lace, sweetheart neckline, and soft sweeping train, her wedding gown was perfection. The gown was paired with a fingertip-length veil with a beaded edge. Melissa carried an incredible loose hand-tied bridal bouquet. The bouquet was created in soft antique pinks and creams with touches of eucalyptus.

 

First Look and Fabulous Portraits

With Joe waiting patiently on the resort’s pool lawn, Melissa made her way across the lawn for their first look and some incredible portraits. The photos, including their children, are all too cute.

 

Clearwater Beach Wedding Ceremony

The resort’s beach was set for the couple’s intimate beach wedding. The design team draped a wooden wedding structure in flowing white fabric and swags of pink and white flowers. The blue skies and the Gulf of Mexico made a beautiful backdrop for Melissa and Joe to exchange their wedding vows.

 

The Story Continues

Inside the Harbor Ballroom, the intimate wedding reception was designed keeping with beautiful textures and color story that began with the ceremony.

We dressed tables with pink satin table linens and pink embroidered lace overlays. Gold chivari chairs complemented gold flatware and gold-rimmed charger plates. Large, loose centerpieces in pink and white with touches of green rested on glass trumpet vases surrounded by floating candles and votives.

 

Sunset Waits For No One

Following introductions of their wedding party, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance.  Joe shared a welcome speech thanking family and friends for joining them.

Sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico are spectacular and a huge part of Clearwater Beach weddings.

On their wedding night, the sunset time was 7:42 PM (yes, it’s something our Special Moments team takes very seriously). So, while their wedding guests enjoyed their salad course, Melissa and Joe snuck back outside for some incredible sunset photos.

 

After removing the veil Melissa wore for the wedding ceremony, she replaces it with a beautiful greenery wreath with pink and white roses. Very Boho Chic!

As anyone can see, this photo taken during their sunset photo session is pure magic.

The newlyweds returned to their wedding reception to enjoy time with their family, a delicious dinner and cut their beautiful three-tiered white wedding cake.

Congratulations, Melissa and Joe! We wish you a lifetime of special moments.
