An Elegant Ybor City Wedding!

Rebecca and Anthony’s spectacular Ybor City wedding combined the soft, elegant tones of white, pink, and gold with the architecture and red brick of the historic city.

 

 

Champagne, Fuzzy Slippers, and Skipping?

Our bride and the ladies started their day with bubbly, fuzzy slippers and lots of fun as they had hair and makeup services and got dressed.

 

 

For the guys, once dressed, they enjoyed a toast and had a little fun taking photos. Okay, they had a lot of fun!

 

 

 

A Little Time With Dad

After some photos with her wedding party, Rebecca headed to her Dad’s room, where he was waiting on the balcony for arrival. They had an incredible first look and spent a little private time together.

 

 

Something Blue

This incredible blue wall was the ideal backdrop for Rebecca and Anthony’s first look. And you know how much we LOVE a great first look!

 

 

Before heading off for some portraits and a few wedding party photos, the couple made sure to get some pictures with Brody. Isn’t his tuxedo too freakin cute?

 

 

Surrounded by Love

Inside the ballroom, all the details were in place for the couple’s wedding ceremony.  Gold Chiavari chairs lined the aisle, adorned with lush greenery and glass cylinders with pillar candles. The ceremony structure overflowed with foliage and soft flowers, making the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.

 

 

With everyone in place, Rebecca made her entrance to Canon in D. The love of family and friends surrounded the couple as they exchanged rings and vows, sealing them with a kiss.

 

 

Cocktail Hour, Ybor Style

With most of their formal photos completed, the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour, including delicious locally-inspired foods.

Foods included Grilled Skirt Steak, Cuban Sandwich, Ham Croquettes, Shrimp Ceviche, Brisket Empanada, and Shrimp Tostadas with Chipotle Salsa. 

 

Dinner and Dancing in Ybor City

Entering the ballroom, guests were greeted with a Champagne Wall holding chilled Champagne for their toasts.

 

 

Tables were draped in soft linens, with some tablescapes that included tall floral creations on contemporary gold risers, while others held collections of pillar candles and fresh flowers. Gold charger plates and gold chiavari chairs completed the look.

The couple’s ceremony structure made the ideal backdrop for their sweetheart table, with soft uplighting and their monogram washing the brick wall behind them.

 

 

The couple’s intimate, two-tiered white wedding cake was off to one side. Fresh flowers, a gold riser, and candles popped against the rustic red brick wall.

 

 

The evening began with the newlywed’s introduction and their first dance to Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You by Frankie Valli.

 

 

The night continued with parent dances, a delicious multi-course dinner, several toasts, and the cake cutting.

 

 

The newlyweds and their guests packed the dance floor for the rest of the evening and, after the last dance, headed home with adorable cookies as wedding favors.
