Amanda and Derek Said I Do, and Me Too!

Amanda and Derek started their Clearwater Beach wedding with their families and wedding parties. For the ladies, it was hair and makeup, and for the guys, it was fixing ties and making some toasts.

Each spent some time with family, and Amanda took a little time for a first look with her father before heading off to see Derek for the first time.

 

 

It Was A Walk On The Beach

As the two met up for their first look, they strolled along Clearwater Beach. They took time for some amazing couple’s photos, which really set the tone for the day.

 

 

After their time together, they met up with their wedding party, took some group photos, and returned to the hotel to freshen up a bit before the beach wedding ceremony.

 

 

Joined Together Like Sand On The Beach

The beach outside of the Sandpearl Resort was set with white garden chairs that led to a white ceremony structure draped with fresh white flowers.

 

 

With everyone in their place, Amanda, escorted by her parents, made her way down the beach.

 

 

The couple exchanged rings and vows in a Gulf side wedding ceremony, including a sand ceremony. Sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds exited under a shower of bubbles!

 

 

A Signature Pup-tail and Nibbles

Following the beach wedding ceremony, family and friends made their way to the resort’s Pool Lawn for cocktail hour.

The Signature Cocktail or Pup-tail was in honor of a four-legged family member. The Paloma cocktail is made with Grapefruit Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, Club Soda, and Tequila.

Guests also enjoyed a Shrimp Cocktail Display, as well as hand passed Diver Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, Petite Crab Cakes with Citrus Aioli, Hummus on Garlic Crostini with Basil, and Filet Mignon and Boursin Cheese en Croute.

Meanwhile, the newlyweds took a sunset stroll on Clearwater Beach, and we have to say the photos are incredible!

 

 

Dinner and Dancing

Inside the ballroom, tables were draped in crisp white linens and decorated with arrangements of white tropical flowers and lush greenery, accented with gold risers and gold votive candles.

Following the wedding party’s introduction, Amanda and Derek made their grand entrance and took to the dance floor for their first dance.

 

 

The evening flowed into parent dances, a blessing, and a delicious buffet dinner. The salad station offered guests a Wedge Caesar Salad with Croutons, Roasted Tomatoes, a Reggiano Tuile, and Parmesan Dressing.

Entree selections included Pan Seared Black Grouper with Scampi Butter, Herb Marinated Organic Chicken with Natural Pan Au Jus, Marinated Short Ribs, Whipped Yukon Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables, and Parker House Rolls.

At the end of dinner, the newlyweds headed over to cut their intimate two-tiered wedding cake. After a few toasts, it was time to dance the night away.
