Ally and Stephen’s Dunedin Waterfront Wedding

Our Special Moments Event Planning team was thrilled to assist Ally and Stephen with coordinating their Dunedin wedding. 

Their wedding day was simple and elegant and reflected their tastes and personalities.

 

Get Ready!

For Ally and her wedding party, the day started with hair and makeup services at her parents’ home, getting dressed, and making their way to the church.

 

 

Steven and the guys headed to church, arriving before the ladies, dressing, and taking photos together.

 

 

Nuptial Mass

Escorted by her parents, Ally made her way down the aisle to Stephen.

 

 

The couple, surrounded by family and friends, participated in a Nuptial Mass. Following exchanging rings, the newlyweds sealed their vows with a kiss.

 

 

Following the ceremony, the couple took time in the sanctuary for some photos with their wedding party and family.

 

 

Walking on the Dock of the Bay

The newlyweds headed off for some awesome waterfront photos while family and friends made their way to cocktail hour.

 

 

Guest at cocktail hour enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres that included Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, Mini Brie with Raspberries, Mini Crab Cakes, Mozzarella Tomato and Pesto Skewers, Melon and Prosciutto, and Mini Peppered Steaks on Croutons.

 

Dancing The Night Away

After cocktail hour, guests entered the ballroom overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The room was set with tables draped in crisp white linens, topped with gold charger plates, custom napkins, and beautiful floral centerpieces.

 

 

After the newlywed’s introduction, there were warm welcome speeches by the Father of the Bride and the Mother of the Groom.

Guests enjoyed a delicious multi-course dinner with guests choosing from Filet Mignon, Chicken Piccata, or fresh local Grouper. 

Touching toasts were the next order of business, followed by the couple sneaking outside for some incredible sunset photos.

 

 

Returning to the reception, Ally and Stephen had their cake cutting, danced with their parents, and took to the dance floor for their first dance to “Don’t Wanna Be Without Ya” by Penny and Sparrow.

 

 

A Nod To NOLA

The bride and groom opened the dance floor with a traditional New Orleans 2nd Line, complete with parasols and handkerchiefs.

 

 

Adding to the festivities, guests enjoyed delicious Pecan Pralines before packing the dance floor for the rest of the night.

 

 

The night came to a close as Ally and Stephen made their exit through a tunnel of light wands, heading off to their hotel room.

 

 

Congratulations, Ally and Stephen! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
