A Garden Wedding Banquet

The Tampa Garden Club was the perfect setting for Nina and Jonathan’s simple yet elegant wedding.  It was filled with personalization and detail, and our Special Moments Event Planning team was excited to be part of their day.

Nina looked beautiful in her form-fitting lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and flared skirt. She wore her hair up with a crystal hair comb securing her long, flowing veil and carried a bouquet of white roses, white lilies, eucalyptus and baby’s breath.

Jonathan stood out from his wedding party wearing a light grey suit, in contrast to their dark suits. Fun, colorful socks were the thread that tied them all together.

The afternoon was filled with the couple having individual portraits, followed by a first look and photos with their wedding party.

Friends of the bride created the décor for the wedding ceremony, with the aisle lined with columns of white flowers topped with soft pink accents. Urns with white flowers sat in front of a white arbor, draped with soft white fabric and dressed in pink and white flowers.

Jonathan waited patiently for Nina’s arrival, with the biggest smile ever. It was easy to see how much in love these two are as they exchanged their wedding vows.

Inside, the reception space was draped in white and lined with round tables layered in crisp white linen, green apple napkins and a lazy-Susan for family style dining. Simple vases of white flowers, prepared by Nina, sat atop dark wooden squares that complimented the mahogany chairs.

Friends of Nina’s created a round floral backdrop that complimented the eclectic accents and flowers on the couples sweetheart table.

It was pretty clear that Nina approved of how all of the details came together.

Tammy and her team, Cameron and Melissa, did a wonderful job as a day of coordinator! They prepared, executed, and wrapped up everything in a nice little package that was my wedding day. I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work and help in making the day go smoothly. In meeting with Tammy for a final walk-through of the venue, she covered so many details that I would’ve never thought of, that needed to be addressed. I felt very confident that the day of would be taken care of, and it was! Everyone in the wedding party only had good things to say about Tammy and her team, how professional and efficient they were. I would highly recommend special moments.

An evening of dancing, Nina changing into a beautiful golden wedding ensemble, some additional wedding photos and a delicious three-tiered naked wedding cake made for the perfect wedding reception.
