A Boho Disco Wedding on Clearwater Beach

Boho Disco is one of the most talked about wedding trends for 2023. So, it makes our Special Moments Event Planning team super happy that Coral and Austin chose Boho Disco for their wedding décor earlier this year!

They were WAY ahead of the trend with their beautiful Clearwater Beach wedding!

Getting Ready For Their First Look

Coral and Austin spent time on opposite sides of Clearwater Beach, getting ready with their wedding parties.

They then came together for an iconic first look. Austin couldn’t hold back tears seeing his bride-to-be for the first time. The couple then spent some time together exchanging private wedding vows.

Following some wedding party photos, the bride took a little time for the first look with her dad before the wedding ceremony.

Simply The Best!

The waterfront wedding ceremony was adorable! Vintage throw rugs lined the aisle decorated with glass vessels and pampas grass. At the end of the aisle, a geometric-shaped wedding structure stood, swagged with colorful floral arrangements.

Escorted by her dad, Coral made her entrance to ‘Missing Piece” by Vance Joy. Even after spending time with his bride before the ceremony, Austin was overcome with emotion.

The couple exchanged vows and rings, surrounded by family and friends. They sealed their vows with a kiss and made their way back up the aisle under a shower of dried rose petals. We love that they chose “Simply The Best” for their recessional – the amazing cover from Schitt’s Creek!

Catch A Bus and Have A Cocktail

Following their wedding ceremony, the newlyweds hopped a ride in a classic VW Bus. What a fun idea for some amazing wedding portraits.

Shortly after, they joined their guests for some cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and took some family photos.

Disco Balls and Vintage Décor

Inside, the event space was wrapped in flowing white floor-to-ceiling fabric. Wooden farm tables were combined with round tables draped in soft fabric. Tabletop décor combined vintage glass, gold charger plates, hand-knotted napkins, beautiful fresh flowers, grasses, rustic fabric swatches, and lots of candles.

Ceremony décor, including the wedding structure, made a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table. But incorporating shimmering oversized disco balls took the look to a new level.

First Dates and Tacos Trucks

The newlyweds made their grand entrance and took to the floor for their first dance to “First Date” by Blink 182.

The festivities continued with a father-daughter dance, touching toasts, and an incredible dinner service by an incredible local food truck. The couple created a completely gluten-free menu and were able to accommodate vegan guests as well.

{PRO TIP: Food trucks are an amazing and very popular option for wedding receptions. However, they are typically not equipped for other areas of the reception. Bringing in a bartending service and full-service caterer to pass hors d’oeuvres, cut and serve wedding cake, serve late-night snacks, and clear tables covered all the bases.}

Following the cake cutting, late-night snacks, and the traditional bouquet and garter tosses, Coral and Austin danced the night away, stopping for a few awesome sunset photos.
