Nora and Simon’s Clearwater Wedding

Our Special Moments Event Planning team adored working with Nora and Simon on their incredible Clearwater Wedding. It was visually stunning but also filled with touching family moments and lots of personality!

 

 

Getting Ready

 

Nora’s day began with her bridal party, possibly one of the largest we’ve seen in quite a while. They were incredible, and the day went smoothly, taking group photos, capturing personal details, and dressing. A few wedding portraits and a reveal, and they were ready to head to the church.

 

 

Across the hotel, Simon and the guys were dressed and ready for their transport to the church, where they would finally see his beautiful bride.

 

Simon Sees His Beautiful Bride

 

With everyone in place, Simon looked on as Nora and her father made their way down the aisle of the church. The setting was magical, and she looked absolutely gorgeous. It was all he could do to hold back his emotions.

 

 

A Magnificent Wedding Ceremony

 

We love the tradition of this beautiful Clearwater wedding ceremony. The elements are unique and beautiful, and the love of family and faith show through in every detail.

 

 

Cocktail Hour at The Opal Sands Resort

After a few family photos in the church, everyone made their way back to the Opal Sands Resort for cocktail hour. While guests enjoyed drinks and light bites, the newlyweds and their wedding party headed off for wedding portraits.

 

 

Given the size of the wedding party, there were photos with the ladies and then the guys. Gathering in the resort’s lobby at the bottom of the staircase was the ideal location.

 

 

Finding A Seat

During the cocktail hour, wedding guests could find their seating assignments on this magnificent seating chart.

 

 

A Truly Magical Clearwater Wedding Reception

 

The ballroom of the Opal Sands Resort was nothing short of magical. The room was filled with flowering trees, flickering candlelight, floral arrangements, and incredible details. The white, ivory, and gold color story made the room look like you stepped into a fairytale.

 

 

An Incredible Sweetheart Table

The sweetheart table was so much more than just a sweetheart table. This incredible white riser, adorned with trees, gold shelves filled with flickering candles, and a blanket of white flowers cascading from the table, was spectacular. We love the way this towering wedding cake completes this incredible look.

 

 

 

And Now, For Something Completely Different!

We rarely focus on introductions of family and the wedding party. Unless you are a family member and know the people in the wedding, it might not add much to the story.

However, in this case, the wedding party entrance is EVERYTHING! The costumes and the fun moments they created added significantly to the story of the newlyweds and their friends’ love for them.

So, we just had to share these!

 

 

Everybody Join In!

 

Following the wedding party introductions, Nora and Simon made their grand entrance and were joined on the dancefloor by their wedding party, family, and friends.

 

 

And the party was just getting started!

 

A Few Words From The Groom

AS things quieted down, the newlyweds took their seats at the sweetheart table. They then welcomed family and friends. Simon shared a blessing, and then it was time for their first dance.

 

 

Dancing On A Cloud!

Taking to the dance floor for their first dance. The clouds and cold spark fountains created a fantastic setting for this special dance.

 

 

 

Cheers!

The evening continued with parent dances, a scrumptious multicourse dinner, the cutting of the cake, and several incredible toasts.

 

Dance, Dance, Dance!

 

The party continued with a packed dance floor, Mc Latenight Snacks, an ice cream cart, as well as a wedding cake, coffee, and a dessert station!

 

 

Clearly, Nora and Simon had the time of their lives. They rarely left the dance floor, and their smiles said everything.

 

Sparkle!

As an incredible evening came to a close, Nora and Simon enjoyed a fun send-off by their wedding party, complete with a bit of fiber optic sparkle!
