Jessie and Cole’s Opal Sands Wedding

This Opal Sands wedding on Clearwater Beach was incredible. Jessie and Cole surrounded themselves with family and friends, keeping those no longer with them as close as they could be.

 

Ladies!

For Jessie and her wedding party, the day began with on-site hair and makeup services, as the team captured them getting ready and some of the wedding details.

 

We’ve never seen a bridal bouquet with this many photo lockets, and it was magical!

 

Gents!

Not far away, Cole and the guys were getting ready and dressing. Special photo cufflinks kept loved ones close to Cole, too.

We Said Not Far Away!

When we said Jessie and Cole were not far away from each other while getting ready, we meant it!

A First Look

Dressed and ready for the wonderful day ahead, the bride and groom were to meet up for their first look and some wedding vows in private.

 

 

The Opal Sands Wedding Lawn

Outside of the hotel, on the resort’s wedding lawn, everything was in place for Jessie and Cole’s wedding ceremony. White garden chairs created a spacious aisle that was lined with beautiful floral arrangements. A lovely Moon Gate wedding arch completed the look with the waters of the Gulf of Mexico in the background.

 

 

I Get To Love You

With everyone in place, Jessie, escorted by her father, made her entrance to a violin cover of “I Get To Love You.” The newlyweds exchanged wedding rings and vows surrounded by family and friends.

 

 

This incredibly special moment, when everyone surrounded them in prayer, was one of the most touching moments we’ve experienced.

 

 

Sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds headed up the aisle in a shower of bubbles.

 

 

Signature Cocktails and Escort Cards

Following the wedding ceremony, everyone enjoyed a cocktail hour with delicious light bites. We adore fun Signature Cocktails, and while Cole’s was a bit Old-Fashioned, we love Jessie’s selection!

 

 

A Dirty Shirley: Vodka, Lemon-Lime Soda, Grenadine Syrup, Crushed Ice, and a Cherry.

 

The couple also had fun with their escort card selection, choosing luggage tags that doubled as a wedding favor for their guests.

 

 

Cocktail hour was a great time to sneak in a few more wedding party and family photos before heading off to the ballroom for a sneak peek at the decor.

 

 

A Sneak Peek

Stepping away from cocktail hour for a few minutes, the newlyweds took a sneak peek at their wedding reception decor. Tables were dressed in white linens, featuring centerpieces of white flowers, eucalyptus, and touches of silver, all set against silver chivari chairs.

While draping behind the long head table created a beautiful backdrop for the couple and the wedding party.

 

 

Eat, Drink, and Be Married

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dancefloor for their first dance.

 

 

The evening continued with a toast by the father of the bride and a blessing by the mother of the groom. Guests enjoyed their first course while Jessie and Cole snuck outside for some spectacular sunset photos on Clearwater Beach.

 

Returning to the ballroom for a delicious dinner, the evening continued with several touching toasts, parent dances, and a cake cutting like no other!

 

Yes, Cole gave as good as he got!
