Grace and Al’s Downtown St. Pete Wedding
Grace and Al’s beautiful St. Pete wedding was filled with incredible sunset colors. They surrounded themselves with loving family and friends, and the day was picture perfect.
Getting Ready
For Grace and her wedding party, their day began with on-site hair and makeup services at their downtown St. Pete Airbnb, where they got dressed and took some group photos.
Al, dressed and ready, made his way to the church with they guys for their photos.
St Paul’s Catholic Church – St. Pete
Inside the church, custom wedding programs were in place for everyone´s arrival. The beautiful sanctuary was filled with blooming plants and fresh floral arrangements.
A First Look Like No Other!
Choosing not to see each other before their wedding ceremony, Grace and Al had their first look in the church’s foyer before walking down the aisle together.
How cute is this?
Nuptial Mass
Grace and Al included liturgical readings by family and friends, touching blessings, and communion before the couple sealed their bond with a kiss.
Exploring Downtown St. Pete
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, the couple took time for family photos in the sanctuary.
Family and wedding guests then made their way to the Mahaffey Theater for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Atrium.
Meanwhile, the newlyweds took some time for portraits before making their way around downtown and along the St. Pete waterfront, enjoying their portrait session, which ended inside the Mahaffey Theater.
A Burst of Sunset Colors
During cocktail hour, guest were able to collect their escort cards with table assignments. Not only were these decorated with a beautiful sunset motif, but they also showcased the guests’ entrée choices, which included Beef Short Ribs, fresh Mahi Mahi, or Chicken Saltimbocca.
Inside the ballroom, tables were draped in crisp white linen and surrounded by elegant silver chivari chairs. The tablescape included miniature vases filled with beautifully colored flowers, votive candles, and frosted glass table numbers.
In the center of the room was the couple’s sweetheart table with a centerpiece bursting with sunset colors.
Off to one side was the couple’s intimate wedding cake that would be joined later by a scrumptious display of bite-sized desserts.
Eat, Drink, and Be Married
Following the couple’s introduction, they shared a few words of welcome and gratitude to their family and friends before enjoying a delicious multi-course dinner.
The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, cake cutting, and a first dance to “At Last” by the iconic Etta James.
The couple chose an Anniversary Dance for all the married couples, presenting her bouquet to the longest-married couple. With the dancefloor open, everyone danced the night away, stopping just long enough for some sweet treats.
Congratulations, Grace and Al! We wish you a lifetime filled with incredible sunsets!
