Olivia and Curtis’ Tampa Wedding

Olivia and Curtis’ Tampa wedding was as unique and fun as they are. The wedding blended a bit of Shabby Chic with a retro Goth vibe. It incorporated beautiful nods to family and tradition while mixing things up with a unique color story in black, gold, ivory, emerald, navy, and soft blush tones.

The Start of the Day

Olivia’s day started off capturing the beautiful details of the day. From her knockout black and white wedding gown to their beautiful invitation suite. And her getting ready photos are amazing.

In another part of the theatre, Curtis was getting ready, exchanging gifts with his wedding party, and getting ready for his first look with his bride-to-be.

A Moment With Dad

Dressed and ready, it was time for Olivia’s first look with her father. We love the tender moments they shared.

Olivia and Curtis’ First Look

If you’ve read any of our blog posts, you know how much we love First Looks. For this one, the bride and groom were center-stage and shared these simple, loving moments inside the theatre.

Following their first look, they took photos with family and their wedding party before heading for their portrait session.

Incredible Wedding Portraits

The couple’s wedding portraits in the area inside and surrounding the theatre were gorgeous. Usually, we only share couple’s portraits in this area, but this black-and-white photograph of Olivia is EVERYTHING!

Til Death Do Us Part

The couple’s ceremony was set against the beautiful backdrop of the whitewashed exposed brick wall. The wooden ceremony chairs and the gorgeous wedding structure with incredible flowers and candles were perfect.

Escorted by her parents, Olivia made her way down the aisle, where the couple exchanged wedding vows and rings and included a wonderful handfasting in their ceremony. Sealing their vows with a kiss, they were off to enjoy time with family and friends.

Cocktails!

Cocktail hour gave everyone time for additional group portraits and to enjoy some delicious signature cocktails.

Main Squeeze Margarita: Passion fruit juice, Tequila, agave nectar, and a lime garnish.

Old Fashioned Love: Bourbon, bitters, simple syrup, a splash of club soda, and a cherry and orange garnish.

Fun signature drinks for a Tampa wedding.

Guests could also find their seating assignments on a seating chart created by our Special Moments Event Planning team and the bride.

A Beautiful Setting

Long wooden tables were draped in soft fabric runners lined with black metal lanterns filled with chunky candles and fresh floral arrangements.

Gold charger plates held custom-designed menu cards describing the delicious buffet dinner.

Off to one side of the room was a fun photo op featuring a black-and-gold couch in front of a floral wall and a neon sign reading “Better Together.”

The couple’s sweetheart table was centered in the room. The luxurious ceremony structure and candles were repurposed to frame the rustic wood table. Over the sweetheart table, a fun neon sign read, “Til Death.”

Another table held the couple’s four-tier seminaked white wedding cake with a custom topper. The cake was made using the bride’s grandmother’s Vanilla Cake recipe, a family favorite.

Dinner, Dancing, and Karaoke!

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dancefloor for their first dance to “Moon” by Austin Giorgio.

Events continued with a welcome and thank you from the bride’s father, dinner, toasts, and cake cutting.

Parent dances and the bouquet toss led to a fun-filled night of dancing, some great photos, and a little karaoke! After a bubble sendoff, the couple was off to enjoy their wedding night.

Congratulations, Olivia and Curtis! We hope you had a blast!
