You Mean The World To Me!
Five minutes after meeting Lisa and Leon, you’ll love them. They have been together for seventeen years and love to travel the world. So, a travel-themed wedding was a natural choice for this incredible couple’s wedding.
Fun Fact: Leon’s handsome suit was handmade in Thailand.
Wedding Vows and Jumping The Broom
The venue’s waterfront gazebo was draped with soft white fabric. It was accented with two large swags of fresh flowers in fuchsia and orange, colors that were carried through the day.
With everyone in place, Lisa made her entrance. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged wedding rings and vows.
Sealing their wedding vows with a kiss, the two ended their outdoor wedding ceremony by jumping the broom.
Cocktails and Photos
After the early afternoon wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed some light bites and refreshments while the couple took family photos. They then heard off for their portrait session; the results could not be cuter!
Glamorous
Inside the venue, tables were draped in floor-length linens accented with coral-colored napkins. The centerpieces were created with modern gold-toned lanterns filled with greenery, fuchsia, and orange flowers. The table numbers nodded to travel, and guests received a miniature globe as their wedding favor.
The couple selected a custom-lettered gold and white globe for their guestbook where their friends could write well wishes!
Their modern, three-tiered ombre wedding cake in white, fuchsia, and orange, decorated with fresh flowers, was a showstopper. We loved the fun fuchsia and orange custom napkins the couple created for cocktails and cake.
Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You
Following introductions, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance to Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You.
The afternoon continued with a Welcome and Thank You by the newlyweds and a blessing by the groom’s uncle.
A fun slideshow of the couple’s travel images scrolled as guests made their way to the buffet and Mimosa bar. This was followed by several touching toasts, the couple’s cake-cutting, and an afternoon of dancing.
And what couple be more appropriate for the end of the afternoon by Last Dance by Donna Summer?
Congratulations, Lisa and Leon! We’re excited to see where life’s journey takes you next!
