This Tampa Couple Will Make You Smile!

If you are anything like our Special Moments Event Planning team, Samantha and Jake’s recent Tampa wedding makes you smile.

All you have to do is look at them. They literally smiled all day long—giant ear to ear smiles.

 

Get Ready

Samantha started her day with her wedding party, champagne, and a lot of laughs.

 

 

Across town, Jake was busy getting ready for the big day. He looked sharp in a white dinner jacket, black tie, and white shoes with black piping.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the ladies moved on from sipping champagne to hair and makeup and getting ready.

 

 

Samantha wore a beautiful organza gown with sheer lace overlay, lace applique sleeves, and illusion back accented with buttons.

 

Her shimmering shoes and jewelry and headband paired perfectly with the wedding gowns rhinestone belt. A beautiful bridal bouquet in ivory, blush, and lavender complimented the look.

 

 

Get Me To The Church On Time

Jake and his wedding party arrived at the church in time for some photos before his first look.

 

 

After a deep breath, Samantha made her way to the front of the church to see her groom-to-be for the first time.

 

We love their first look!

 

 

The couple had built enough time into their schedule before the wedding ceremony for family and wedding party photos as well as some time alone.

Samantha’s ear to ear smiles continued as her Father walked her down the aisle. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

 

 

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds headed off in a limousine for some photos along Tampa’s Bayshore Drive.

 

 

Wedding guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the gardens at the Tampa Garden Club. How cute are these cocktail arrangements created in cigar boxes?

 

 

The cocktail reception included Mini Tomato Bisque Shooters with Grilled Cheese Wedges, Beef, and Black Bean Empanadas with Salsa Fresca, Mini Flatbreads with Caramelized Onions and Brie with a Balsamic Drizzle, and Meatballs with Sweet and Sour Sauce.

 

The Wedding Reception

Our Special Moments Event Planning team created custom-designed seating charts and menu boards that matched the wedding décor.

Keeping physical distancing in mind, the ballroom was designed to allow for six feet between each table. Tables were draped in ivory linen and accented with floral centerpieces in blush and ivory. With guest safety in mind, silverware was rolled into blush napkins and accented with a gold ring.

 

 

Large floral pieces surrounded the newlywed’s sweetheart table, accented with gold Mr. & Mrs. Letters and gold votive candles.

 

 

After toasts by the Father of the Bride, Maid Of Honor, and Best Man, guests enjoyed a plated dinner before the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. Samantha and Jake chose a classic, “At Last,” by Etta James.

 

 

We love this intimate wedding cake with a gold “forever and always” cake topper. Choosing a smaller wedding cake allowed guests to be served from several larger cakes held safely in the kitchen.

 

 

The couple and their guests ended the night dancing to “Electric Love” by BØRNS before making their exit under a shower of sparklers.

 

 

Congratulations, Samantha and Jake! We wish you a life filled with as many smiles as your wedding day.
