A Night Of Laughter and Tears
Samantha and Matt’s February wedding began in downtown Tampa. Our Special Moments Event Planning Team was thrilled to be with them throughout this emotion-filled day.
Getting Ready
Samantha wore a beautiful organza gown with a sweetheart neckline, paired with a brilliant blue pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes. Her bouquet of soft white and blush hydrangea, garden roses, and peonies complemented her gown perfectly.
Matt hung out with the guys getting ready for the big day and took some time for photos before heading over to the church. The gang looked very handsome dressed in classic black tuxedos.
The Wedding Ceremony
Samantha and her wedding party arrived after the men and wedding guests were transported to the ceremony. Once everyone was in place, Samantha was escorted down the aisle by her father. They could not have asked for a more beautiful downtown Tampa church for their wedding ceremony.
To say that Samantha and Matt were excited about their wedding day might be an understatement!
After some family portraits at the church, the couple and their wedding party headed to the steps of the iconic Le Meridien Hotel for some additional photos.
The Wedding Reception
Family and wedding guests were transported to the wedding reception for cocktail hour while the wedding party was out taking more photos. Once the couple arrived, they took a few minutes for a sneak peek at the ballroom.
The room was draped in soft white fabric and twinkle lights. Guest tables were covered in ivory colored linens and topped with floral arrangements of white and blush on gold risers. Pillar candles, gold beaded charger plates, and gold chiavari chairs completed the look.
Our bride and groom were seated at a sweetheart table overflowing with fresh flowers and greenery. A gold metallic wall studded with candles floated against the Tampa Bay backdrop.
After introductions and Samantha and Matt’s first dance, there were two adorable parent dances followed by a few touching toasts and a blessing by the grandfather of the bride.
The couple snuck off for a few sunset photos just before dinner service. The evening continued with a fun, personalized photo booth, a jam-packed dancefloor, some late-night pizza and sliders, and some custom ice cream creations.
After cutting this beautiful three-tiered buttercream wedding cake, Samantha and Matt returned to the dancefloor for a little end of the night surprise for their guests. The confetti cannon was a huge hit!
Congratulations, Samantha, and Matt. We know you laughed as much as you cried, and it was pretty clear you had an incredible wedding day!
