Sunset at Tampa Bay Watch

Kathleen and Chris are an incredible couple. They are so sweet and have been together for ten years, and there were several nods to that during their beautiful Tierra Verde wedding at Tampa Bay Watch.

 

 

With everyone dressed and ready, each of them, with their wedding party, made their way to the beautiful waterfront wedding venue.

 

 

 

I’m Yours!

With everyone in place, Kathleen, escorted by her father, made her entrance to the iconic Canon in D.

 

The two exchanged wedding vows and rings and chose to include a Unity Ceremony where they bound their hands together with cords of rope. Sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds exited in a shower of petals to ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz.

 

 

 

All Together Now

At the end of the wedding ceremony, their family and friends gathered with the couple for one HUGE group photo.

 

 

Guests made their way to the venue’s balcony for hors d ‘oeuvres and cocktails that included fun signature cocktails.

His – A Vanilla Bean Old Fashioned

Hers – An Empress Gin 75

And a delicious Cold Brew Martini

Meanwhile, it was time for the couple to head off for some fun and fabulous wedding portraits. They even snuck in a few rounds of corn hole before redoing their guests.

 

 

Personal Touches

Inside the ballroom, under a canopy of soft drapery, tables were dressed in grey burlap cloth with navy blue runners, silver lanterns, braided rope, and candles.

 

 

The newlywed’s sweetheart table sat in front of a beautiful backdrop of flowing drapery with Mr. And Mrs. In neon lights. The table included a box containing champagne dated ten years earlier.

 

 

A fun, hand-decorated surfboard with the couple’s names and wedding date made a fun and unique guest book.

 

 

Delicious hand-dipped cake pops replaced the couple’s wedding cake, and Italian Wedding Cake and Cinnamon Vanilla flavors were quite the hit. And how cute are these bride and groom pops?

 

 

Other fun touches included a retro cake topper that was a gift from the groom’s grandmother and a table filled with incredible cookies. There were ten types of cookies, one for each year the couple has been together.

 

Cookie flavors included:

2. Lady Lucks – A light, airy cookie filled with sweet pastry cream.

3. Chocolate Chip

4. Pecan Bars

5. Chocolate Oat

6. Cherry Cheesecake

7. Sugar

8. Lemon Crisp

The family outdid themselves!

 

Let’s Get The Party Started

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance. This was followed by a speech by the bride’s father and a delicious dinner buffet.

 

 

A Brief Intermission

While guests enjoyed dinner and a fun trivia game about the couple’s ten years together, Kathleen and Chris headed outside to take advantage of the spectacular sunset for the most incredible wedding photos.

 

Dance The Night Away

The couple returned to the ballroom for a few special toasts before officially welcoming and thanking all of their family and friends.

 

 

This was followed by Chris’s dance with his mother and a father-daughter dance for the records. That is how you open the dance floor for the evening.
