If you watched our Special Moments Event Planning social media feeds last week you might have seen some unusual images. Our Lead Dream Maker, Tammy Waterman, had a little tropical getaway to the Sandals Ochi Beach Resort.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Sandals Ochi Rios is one of six Sandals resorts on the beautiful island of Jamaica. The exclusive adults-only, all-inclusive resort is amazing!

The temperatures here are comfortable year-round. With a daytime average of 82°F and a nighttime average of 72°F, what’s not to love?

 

Adult-Only, All-Inclusive

Beyond incredible weather, and magnificent ocean views there is so much more to love. Adults-only has its own perks! But all-inclusive means the vacation of your dreams.

Included are roundtrip airport transfers and all taxes and gratuities. Sandals also offers all guests complimentary, on-resort COVID-19 tests prior to your departure.

The magnificent guest accommodations are just the start of luxury.  From Luxury rooms in the Great House to a Butler Villa One-Bedroom Suite with a Private pool, Ochi Resort has something for everyone!

 

Drinks and Dining

Ochi Resort offers guests eleven bars to choose from including the Caribbean’s FIRST speakeasy – The Rabbit Hole. You’ll need to get the password to get into this Alice in Wonderland-themed bar with a 1920’s jazz club vibe and incredible craft cocktails.

That leaves ten more to explore. Whether you’re looking for an Over-The- Water Bar to hang out in or something on the beach, there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy a cocktail. Sandals offers Premium Liquors, incredible local beers, and features the island’s famous Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum.

Tammy’s first night at the resort there were treated to an incredible Rum Tasting along with plenty of tasty treats.

Speaking of food, the food is AMAZING and there’s plenty to choose from. With sixteen restaurants, you’ll never go hungry. Ochi offers a Jerk Hut for amazing Caribbean food as well as restaurants offering Northern Italian, Sushi, Seafood, Tapas, French and Southern food.

Be sure to check out Neptune’s Mediterranean Seafood, it sits right on the beach. The open-air dining here and across the resort was incredible!

Have Some Fun!

Sandals offers entertainment and activities to suit practically everyone’s taste.

If you wanna hang out by the pool or on the beach in a private cabana, you can do that. Ochi Resort also has a Red Lane Spa with sixteen treatment rooms and a beauty salon.

But, Sandals Ochi Resort also offers kayaks, sailboats, paddleboards, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and has a PADI Certified Dive Center. And, if that’s not your style you’ll have access to the nearby Sandals Golf and Country Club. Your greens fees are included and Golf Digest gave this Par 71 course it’s 4-star rating!

Just so you know, Tammy was there working too!

She got to check out the Sandals Ochi Over Water Wedding Chapel, as well as several other sites offering wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Tammy made sure to experience everything you’d need for your Destination Wedding or to Retie The Knot. She enjoyed tastings of Signature Cocktails like Mai Tie The Knot with Appleton V|X Rum to Sparkling Sangria. As well as delicious cupcake tasting with wedding cake flavors like Red Velvet with Coconut Filling, Vanilla with Strawberry Filling, and Chocolate with Irish Cream.

And the décor and floral centerpieces their teams create are absolutely beautiful!
