Straz Center – Tara and Fred

Tara and Fred came to us To keep stress levels low the day of the wedding and to help with her  Bridezilla tendencies . We were thrilled that from the first phone call we put her at ease and we jumped in to help with what was left to finalize and organize. Their theme was Birch and Beer. A gift from their 1st Christmas of a stump ring gave them the tree elements and their love for a cold Brew brought the beer element to the wedding. Tara also included her Filipino heritage into her wedding by including sponsors, a candle, cord; veil, coins, and having the groomsmen wear a Barong Tagalong, an embroidered formal garment of the Philippines. They had a lot of DIY elements from designing and assembling their save the dates, wedding invitations, programs, place cards, etc. Tara and Her mother also  made all of the origami flowers that were used in the bridesmaid’s bouquets, the flower girl bouquets, and the pew decorations at the church. A close family friend, Patsy, made all of the centerpieces. They Choose the Straz Center to Host their reception and were able to have the cocktail hour by the fountains along the Hillsborough River and the reception at Maestros. Maestros had the mix of modern and elegance they were looking for.  From Beer cap escort cards to match the Table names with the same beer cap to the Glow stick send off and then the finally was At the end of the night, the coupled celebrated by jumping in the Straz Center fountains.
