Jennifer and Daniel’s Wedding at the Rusty Pelican

Jennifer and Daniel’s wedding at the Rusty Pelican was set against the backdrop of Tampa Bay. The intimate wedding was simple and elegant, and our Special Moments Event Planning team was honored to be a part of it.

 

Get Ready!

For the ladies, the day began with hair and makeup, some fun photos in their wedding day robes, and then again as a group dressed and ready.

 

 

Across town, Daniel was having photos taken as his Best Man helped him get ready, and then the guys did their group photos.

 

 

That’s My Dad

While the guys were being photographed in one location, Jennifer took time for some photos and a little private time with her dad.

 

Jennifer and Daniel’s First Look

It was time for the bride and groom-to-be to see each other for the first time. Jennifer snuck up behind Daniel, and his reaction was precious.

 

 

 

With their first look and some wedding portraits completed, the couple hid away as guests gathered at the venue’s waterfront wedding pavilion.

 

 

With This Ring

The wedding pavilion was draped with flowing white fabric and accented with large boughs of white flowers. With Tampa Bay as the backdrop, it was a beautiful setting for their wedding ceremony.

 

 

With everyone in place, Jennifer entered, escorted by her father. 

 

 

The couple exchanged wedding rings and vows, sealing their vows with a kiss. Needless to say, they were pretty excited!

 

As they left the ceremony site, they headed off for some photos together while guests enjoyed cocktail hour.

 

 

Dance The Night Away 

Inside the venue’s ballroom, tables were set with black linens under a canopy of flowing white fabric—the gold chivari chairs with black cushions paired perfectly with the gold candle holders and table numbers. Rustic wooden slabs surrounded by white flowers added a touch of whimsy.

 

 

Their sweetheart table reflected the decor of the guest tables and overflowed with white flowers.

 

 

And how cute is their three-tiered semi-naked wedding cake?

 

 

Following introductions, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. 

 

 

The night was family dances, touching toasts, delicious food, and great music. The dance floor stayed packed all night long.

However, the newlyweds cleared the dance floor at the end of the night for one last dance alone,
