Hawaiian Inspired Clearwater Beach Wedding
If our Special Moments Event Planning team never told you that Jennifer and Nathan’s wedding wasn’t a destination wedding in Hawaii, you might never know. With the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in the background and lots of tropical touches, it brought the bride’s happy place to Florida.
Mahalo, Jennifer, and Nathan!
This touching online review sets the stage for the time and energy to plan and replanning this beautiful wedding during COVID. Thank you, Jennifer and Nathan,
Hiring Tammy and her team was the best gift to us on our wedding day!
We hired Special Moments Events Planning because Tammy and her team came highly recommended. Hiring Tammy was the best decision we made regarding the planning process! Tammy is incredibly knowledgeable and connected with the best vendors. She made planning and then replanning our wedding – since we had to delay our wedding by 5 months – so much less stressful.
She recommended the best vendors, gave us great advice on how to save money, and was incredibly supportive through the whole process – especially with navigating changing our date and original plans due to COVID. Tammy carefully executed our wedding vision exactly the way we wanted it – down to the very last detail. This was greatest gift to me as the bride on my wedding day, because I didn’t have to worry about a thing but instead was free to be fully present and enjoy our special day!
Additionally, with Tammy’s team, we didn’t need to put our family or bridal party members to work during our wedding weekend. Every detail was carefully taken care of so our families and friends were free to just enjoy the weekend. Our families and all of our guest had a wonderful time and many commented that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to! Even in the midst of COVID, our wedding turned out to be absolutely beautiful!
Tammy and her team really go above and beyond to make your wedding day is incredibly special and memorable. We would highly recommend Special Moments Events Planning to all couples! We’re so grateful we hired them.
Thank you, Tammy for everything! You and your team were such a blessing to us!☺️
Getting Ready
Jennifer and the ladies started their day with in-suite hair and makeup, a little lunch, and some champagne. The colorful robes with gold pineapples and pineapple fans set the tone for things to come.
The photographers captured all of the incredible Hawaiian inspired details throughout the wedding.
Jennifer looked incredible in her light, flowing, lace wedding gown, and the spectacular cascading bouquet of bright tropical flowers was the perfect compliment.
Nathan and the guys spent the morning relaxing and enjoying some adult beverages and cigars. Nathan looked very handsome in his Navy-blue suit with traditional Hawaiian wedding lei.
Jennifer and Nathan’s First Look
In one of the most touching moments of the day – Jennifer’s wedding party took some time to pray over her before she headed off for her first look.
With Nathan carefully tucked away, Jennifer entered the hotel balcony and touched him on the shoulder. After a few minutes together, each took a moment to share a note they had written for the other.
A Tropical Ceremony Setting
Outside on the hotel’s lawn, the intimate wedding ceremony was set to welcome guests. An Aloha sign set the stage along with tropical-inspired wedding programs. The white garden chairs facing the sparkling water were decorated with tropical greenery and pineapples.
At the end of the aisle was a beautiful wedding structure filled with lush tropical greenery, colorful orchids, and ginger.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow
With everyone in place, Jennifer made her way down the aisle to the island sounds of Somewhere over the Rainbow, escorted by her father.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows surrounded by family and friends with cool gulf breezes and the sound of waves in the background.
A Hawaiian Paradise
After some time on the Gulf Lawn for family and wedding party photographs, mojitos, and some lite bites, everyone made their way inside for a fun-filled wedding reception.
Inside, the ballroom was set with pineapples, greenery, and a warm tropical vibe. Golden charger plates and chairs shimmered next to teal colored table linens, and tropical flowers filled the tables.
The newlyweds entered the room and went directly into their beautifully choreographed first dance to ‘At Last.”
The couple took their places at their beautifully decorated sweetheart table as the evening began with parent dances, toasts, and a blessing by the bride’s father.
The evening continued with a delicious buffet dinner and a fun photo booth with Hawaiian inspired props. And in Hawaiian tradition, colorful leis were shared with all of the wedding guests. Little Hawaiian inspired touches were added through the evening.
The evening ended with Jennifer and Nathan cutting their scrumptious three-tiered wedding cake decorated with orchids and a custom cake topper.
Ho’omaika’i’ ana, Jennifer and Nathan! We wish you much happiness!
