A Memorable Clearwater Beach Wedding
This memorable Clearwater Beach wedding at the Sandpearl Resort holds a special place in the hearts of our Special Moments Events Planning team. And it’s not just because their color story included shades of purple, Tammy’s favorite color.
Danielle and John’s wedding was our team’s last wedding, for a while, just days before Florida went on lockdown. Needless to say, things were a little stressful for everyone.
We could not be more appreciative of the kind words from Danielle’s mother, Lori:
I wanted to thank you for all your planning expertise! The suggestions for all the services were invaluable. Everything really was perfect! 💕 It was an anxious time since it was days before the lockdown, but you made it all happen. I am still getting comments from guests about how wonderful it was to have that weekend together before we all had to isolate. I can’t think of anything we would have done differently. You helped us think of everything! I hope you get back to what you do so well soon.
Brunching and Getting Ready
The wedding day for our bride and groom began with Danielle and her bridal party relaxing, brunching, and sipping some champagne in the bridal suite. Soon after hair, makeup and getting dressed started.
Danielle looked amazing in a lace wedding gown with cap sleeves. She carried a spectacular bridal bouquet of roses in white, blush, and lavender, with lilacs in several shades of purple, white hydrangea, and seeded eucalyptus.
First Look
John and the guys relaxed and enjoyed some lunch together before getting ready to see his bride-to-be for the first time. He looked quite handsome, and the lavender tie and pocket square were the perfect accessories.
After Danielle and John’s first look, they took some time for the wedding party and family photos before the ceremony. This would allow everyone, including the couple, to relax and enjoy the cocktail hour.
Everyone took some time to freshen up while final touches were being added to the outdoor wedding overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Wedding Ceremony on Clearwater Beach
The beach wedding was set with white chairs with the seats lining the aisle swagged with purple sashes and small bouquets of purple flowers. At the end of the aisle, a wooden arbor was draped in white fabric that blew in the breeze with purple, blush, and white flowers trailing down one side.
Once this handsome guy was ready, it was time showtime. The ring box engraved with the bride and groom’s names and wedding date. What a great keepsake!
As the processional began, John and the wedding party made their way down the aisle and waited anxiously for the arrival of his bride and her dad, followed closely by her entourage.
They could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their beach wedding. The Gulf of Mexico and blue skies created a memorable Clearwater Beach wedding and incredible backdrop for them to exchange their wedding vows.
At the end of the ceremony, the newlyweds took a minute for a quick toast with the wedding party and family before everyone headed to the Gulf Lawn for cocktails. The sun was beginning to set, so the couple headed off for some sunset photos, before rejoining the party.
A Sandpearl Wedding Reception
Upstairs in the ballroom tables were set with crisp white linen and shimmering purple napkins. Each guest table was filled with a tri of floating candles that rested on a bed of greenery and roses. Metallic tone votive candles added a little more shimmer to the tablescape.
Along one side of the ballroom, the long head table sat in front of a wall draped in white fabric and up-lit with a warm glow. The table was lined with large floral sprays, crystal candle globes and sparkling “Mr. and Mrs.” signs
The evening was filled with warm words, touching toasts, giggles, and some tears. Guests dined on a delicious multi-course plated dinner. Soon after, the newlyweds cut their beautiful four-tiered white buttercream wedding cake. The cake rested on a large silver stand surrounded by a cascade of greenery and roses.
Shortly after the cake cutting, Danielle and John opened the dance floor with their first dance.
Be sure to watch this awesome wedding trailer and be sure not to miss their exit at the end of the night under a shower of sparkling streamers.
Thank You!
