Blue Skies For A Picture-Perfect Sarasota Wedding

Rebecca and Brandon’s Sarasota wedding day started pretty much like most others.

Rebecca and the ladies spent time together having their hair and makeup done, popping a little bubbly, spending time bonding, and enjoying the day. Meanwhile, Brandon chilled with the guys, got dressed, took a few photos, and waited anxiously to see his bride-to-be.

 I Loved Your First, Baby!

It’s no secret that our Special Moments Event Planning team LOVES a good first look. Lucky for us, Rebecca and Brandon’s wedding had several of them. Complete with some adorable details. The first look for Rebecca was with her father.

As if the first look wasn’t impressive enough, the gifts for her father and mother were epic.

It’s Brandon’s Turn

Outside of the hotel, Brandon waited patiently for his bride’s arrival. The two of them were so incredibly cute!

Following their first look, the two took some time for photos together with their family. They wrapped up some wedding party photos allowing time to refresh before the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony.

Made For You

Outside on the resort’s lawn, overlooking the water, all the details were in place for a beautiful wedding ceremony.

With family, friends, and the wedding party in place, Henri, a VIP, made his way down the aisle just ahead of Rebecca and her father.

Home Sweet, You and Me

The couple exchanged wedding rings and vows and shared communion while family members offered some inspirational readings.

Sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds headed off to cocktail hour and time with their wedding guests.

Dinner and Dancing

The ballroom was set with crisp white linens. Place settings included glass charger plates with gold bead edges, gold flatware, and bright red napkins layered with custom menu cards. Centerpieces of white, pink, and bright red filled gold urns and were surrounded by gold votive candles and gold-toned table numbers.

And how cute is their Signature Cocktail sign?

The newlywed’s sweetheart table was draped in textured red linen and adorned with golf Mr and Mrs lettering and an explosion of beautiful flowers.

Following introductions, the coupler took to the dance floor for their first dance to Yours (the wedding edition) by Russel Dickerson.

The evening was filled with touching toasts, delicious food, and special dances, including an Anniversary Dance for the bride’s grandparent’s 57th wedding anniversary.

While dancing the night away, the couple took a few minutes to cut their beautiful three-tiered wedding cake.

Grow Old With You

With wedding guests gathered outside for the couple’s sparkler exit, the couple took to the dance floor one last time.  They had a private dance to Growing Old With You by Restless Road before heading out in an incredible vintage car.

What You Didn’t See!

Rebecca and Brandon’s wedding was initially scheduled at the Gasparilla Inn and Club in Boca Grande.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian had other plans. The venue was virtually destroyed.

While the new venue offered them space, it also had some storm issues, and many of the guest rooms were booked by locals moving north after their homes were damaged. Additional guest rooms were secured in the area, and everything moved forward almost exactly as planned.
