Amanda and Connor’s Davis Islands Garden Club Wedding

This colorful Davis Islands Garden Club wedding absolutely reflected Amanda and Connor. It was colorful, fun, and filled with love and laughter.

The couple met pre-pandemic through mutual friends, dated long distance with Zoom dates when the world closed down, and continued their beautiful love story when it reopened. And the rest is history!

Getting Ready

The ladies started their day with hair and makeup services and fun getting-ready photos.

Across town, Connor and the guys were getting dressed and ready for his first look with Amanda and some pre-ceremony family and wedding party photos.

A Couple of Cutie Patooties!

Amanda says she knew Connor was the one when he called her a Cutie Patootie! After seeing their first-look photos at Davis Islands Garden Club, we think they are both Cutie Patooties!

A Very Colorful Wedding Party!

Following their first look, the couple invested time before the ceremony for some family and wedding party photos.

We love the soft pastel colors of the bridal party’s dresses and bouquets and how the colors come together in Amanda’s bouquet and throughout the wedding decor.

And the guys are a pretty fun and colorful bunch, too!

Here Comes The Sun

The Davis Islands Garden Center outdoor ceremony space was beautifully decorated, with a wedding structure overflowing with colorful flowers that continued up the aisle.

With everyone in their place, Amanda, escorted by her father, made her entrance to “Here Comes The Sun” by the Brooklyn Duo.

The couple exchanged wedding vows and rings, surrounded by family and close friends, before sealing their vows with a kiss.

The newlyweds stopped partway up the aisle for one more kiss under a shower of bubbles.

Their wedding party, family, and guests followed them up the aisle, forming a conga line to cocktails – because, who doesn’t love a conga line?

Cocktail Hour and More Fun!

Guest enjoyed cocktails and some light bites while having a bunch of fun! Cocktail hour included a Jenga guestbook where friends could leave warm wishes on the game pieces. The couple had a custom Corn Hole set with Mr. and Mrs. bags and a Croquet set that perfectly matched the wedding’s colorful decor!

Too Cute For Words!

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour and fun, the newlyweds wandered across Davis Islands Garden Club, taking incredible black-and-white wedding portraits. The photos are stunning and timeless.

Party Up!

Inside the Davis Islands Garden Club, the ballroom looked like a beautiful garden party. The wedding structure and ceremony flowers created an incredible backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table.

Guest tables were draped in white linens. Gold chiavari chairs, gold urns filled with colorful flowers, and wedding favors of golden honey added warmth to the decor.

Off to one side was the couple’s two-tiered white wedding cake, surrounded by flowers and miniature Bundt Cakes!

Following the couple’s introductions, everyone was seated for a Welcome by the Father of the Bride.

A blessing, and a delicious buffet-style dinner with a menu that included.

Mixed Greens Salad

Carved to Order Flank Steak

Penne Alfredo

Chicken Marsala

Medley of Fresh Vegetables

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Dinner Rolls

Toasts were up next, followed by the couple’s cake-cutting before the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to “Perfect For Me” by Bradley Marshall.

The evening continued with a packed dance floor before the couple snuck off for some late-night photos to cap it off.

Congratulations, Amanda and Connor! We wish you a colorful life filled with happiness and flowers.
