A Wedding Full of Details

Our Special Moments Event Planning team recently provided Wedding Day Management for Haleigh and Connor’s beautiful Opal Sands Wedding. The day was full of beautiful and personal wedding details.

Haleigh looked beautiful in her luxurious, form-fitting lace wedding gown. She chose a modern bridal bouquet filled with white orchids and greenery to compliment her look, accented with a special photo locket.

Connor looked very handsome, wearing a navy blue three-piece suit with a green necktie, orchid boutonniere, and patterned pocket square.

 

Three First Looks

The bride and bridal party spent the morning getting ready in the Opal Sands Presidential Suite. This fantastic suite offered a wonderful space to get ready and enjoy lunch together. The enormous private terrace overlooking Clearwater Beach was the ideal location for photos.

Haleigh had three first looks on the terrace. The first was with her bridal party, the second was with her father, and the final first look was with her groom-to-be!

 

The Opal Sands Event Lawn

Below the Presidential Suite on the Opal Sands Event Lawn, all the details were in place for the couple’s beautiful wedding ceremony. White garden chairs, columns with an explosion of greenery, and a modern ceremony structure swagged with fabric and foliage were just the beginning.

As wedding guests arrived, they shared warm wishes in an adorable coffee table book. The couple chose one on beaches. This is one of our favorite tips, guests can write messages in the negative spaces, and it’s something the couple can display in their home.

The sound of steel drums filled the air, and an incredible sailboat floated by in the background.

 

Falling In Love With You

With Connor, the wedding party, and guests in place, Haleigh, escorted by her father, made her entrance to the iconic “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” by Elvis Presley.

The couple exchanged wedding vows with a brilliant blue sky and the Gulf of Mexico behind them.

 

Fun Photos and Local Seafood

Following the wedding ceremony, wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Event Lawn. There was a table filled with fun photos of the couple {Go EAGLES!}. Guests were treated to displays of fresh local seafood, including Shrimp, Oysters, Crab Claws, Grouper Ceviche, and delicious passed bites.

 

The Golden Hour

During cocktail hour, the newlyweds spent time taking some incredible wedding portraits. The time just before sunset is known as ‘The Golden Hour’ because the lighting is perfect for beautiful wedding portraits.

 

Details, Dinner, and Dancing

Inside the hotel’s Sea Salon, all the details were in place for an incredible evening. The room was filled with tables set with shimmering gold flatware, gold charger plates layered with monstera leaves, custom menu cards, and delicious chocolate wedding favors.

Following introductions, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to ‘Another’ by Adam Doleac.

Haleigh and Connor, seated at a table with family, moved for a welcome by the bride’s father and some toasts. Moving to an open space next to a floral arrangement was the ideal location for beautiful photos.

The evening continued with a spectacular multi-course dinner; the couple cut their white and gold wedding cake. After a night filled with dancing and time with family and friends, everyone was invited outside the hotel for a memorable grand exit.

Little did Connor know, there was also a little surprise for him!
