A Rose Gold Wedding Day

Our Special Moments Event Planning team enjoyed reflecting on Amanda and Jake’s November wedding at Clearwater Beach’s Opal Sands Resort.

There’s just something about rose gold that makes you smile. It’s warm and cheery, and beyond that, this couple is so cute together. We’re happy to have been the Wedding Day Manager for their big day.

Getting Ready

The day for each of them began with brunch being delivered to the bridal suite and groom’s suite. They relaxed and got ready with their wedding parties, doing a few photos separately before the wedding ceremony.

Amanda looked beautiful in this lace gown with a sheer illusion overlay and sweeping train. Her incredible cascading bridal bouquet was filled with giant mums, coral and white ranunculus, peach garden roses, hypericum berries, and soft touches of greenery.

The groom and his groomsmen looked sharp in their vested suits. Jake wore a boutonniere with soft pink touches that complimented his pink patterned necktie.

Getting Married

The couple chose not to do a first look and instead waited to see each other for the first time as Amanda made her way down the aisle. They exchanged their wedding vows on the lawn overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. A driftwood arch decorated with pink, peach, and white flowers not only set the perfect backdrop but was later repurposed to frame their sweetheart table.

The cocktail hour included time for some family photos before the newlyweds headed off for a few sunset photos on the beach.

The Wedding Reception

Inside the ballroom, guest tables were being set with blush shantung satin linen and rose gold chivari chairs. Floral tables numbers in rose gold frames, along with rose gold votive candles and low arrangements filled with greenery, and pink and white florals tied all of the design elements together.

Following introductions and the couple’s first dance, guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner before taking to the dancefloor.

Instead of tossing her bouquet, Amanda requested an anniversary dance and presented her flowers to the couple married the longest.

The evening concluded with the couple cutting their incredible four-tiered wedding cake decorated with lovely pink and white sugar flowers.

Congratulations, Amanda and Jake! Your beautiful wedding and all of the rose gold details brought a smile to our faces.
