A Golden Hyatt Clearwater Beach Wedding

Erica and Tom’s wedding was recently featured in Marry Me Tampa Bay. However, our Special Moments Event Planning team knew that their beautiful wedding had so much more to share.

Eleven months before their wedding, Tom proposed to Erica on the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach rooftop at sunset. He knew it was one of her favorite views.

This local couple knew they wanted the same stunning sunsets for their wedding guests. The Hyatt also provided incredible beach views without being directly on the beach.

 

 

Here Comes The Bride

The resort hotel gave the bride and her wedding party the perfect location to all get ready together. They also sipped a little champagne while enjoying the fantastic views of Clearwater Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

 

 

Erica chose a beautiful modern lace gown with spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, and an open back for her wedding gown. We loved the texture of her white bridal bouquet of roses and touches of greenery.

 

 

After getting ready, the bride chose to do a private First Look with her dad. A growing tradition we really like seeing.

 

 

 16th Floor Sky Terrace

The white ceremony décor popped against the beautiful blush-toned walls and pavers of the Sky Terrace.

Two large white columns held white urns filled with soft white floral arrangements- framing the couple during the wedding ceremony. Glass vases overflowing with flowers hung from the white garden chairs along the edge of the aisle.

 

 

I’m Not Crying, You’re Crying

With Tom and the wedding party in place, things got a little emotional as Erica made her entrance to ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love.’

 

 

The couple exchanged their wedding vows in a touching ceremony officiated by the bride’s uncle. Be sure to check out the wedding video at the end of the blog to see this moving ceremony. #ImNotCryingYoureCrying

 

 

Sunset on Clearwater Beach

After the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the Bellaire Terrace overlooking the beach. Meanwhile, the newlyweds headed off for some beautiful Gulf sunset photos.

 

 

A Warm Golden Glow

Inside the Bellaire Ballroom, final touches were being made to the wedding reception. The soft sunlight washed the room set with crisp white linen. Tall white floral arrangements on gold metal risers were surrounded by candles in gold cups. Gold rimmed glass charger plates, and gold chairs tied the entire design together.

 

 

After introductions, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their First Dance to ‘All Because of You.’

 

 

Following a delicious dinner, the couple cut their simple, elegant white wedding cake adorned with a cascade of white flowers. The cake cutting was followed by their bouquet and garter toss and a night filled with dancing.
